Le Crobag — Restaurant in Salzburg

Utterly disgraceful customer service!🤯My friend and I popped in yesterday morning (12/05, around 9:00) and joined the queue. Shockingly, a girl blatantly cut in the queue. (Is queue jumping simply acceptable in Austria? I've been beaten many times.)

When it was our rightful turn, a staff member with curly dark hair completely ignored us and proceeded to serve the person behind. When my friend pointed out, “We’re waiting to order.” she rudely snapped, “Waiting what?” before continuing to ignore us and taking the next customer instead.

I’ve seen numerous reviews alluding to racism and now I fully understand why. Her behaviour was not only offensive and unprofessional. But, downright unacceptable.

If your staff are so fed up with tourists, perhaps they’re in the wrong line of work. Just to be clear. Without tourists, your business wouldn’t survive. Salzburg isn’t exactly a must-visit city beyond its natural scenery.

Learn some manners. Basic human decency...

We went to this place twice once to have breakfast as there was a small table on the side and we didn't have to rush for the train and the second time had a take away. It's mainly a take away place within the station and from what I could see, the only place other than the SPAR that you could buy anything to eat before running for your train. We had pistachio filling croissant, nut croissant, chocolate muffin, butter croissant, pain au chocolat, mozarella-tomato sandwich and cappuccino. I must say everything was delicious, specially the croissants and the sandwich, totally worth the money. Unfortunately we didn't take any pictures as it was all wrapped in take away bags and the fact that we were super hungry 😂. I had a bad experience here, one of the older ladies worked there didn’t answer any of my questions when I asked what’s the filling inside the croissants they were selling even though she heard me. Instead of answering my questions she just put whatever I pointed to in the take away bag. Didn’t say a word to me the whole time. This racist attitude towards people of color seems to be normalized here even though we are living in 2024.
