This was a very nice place to visit in Vienna. The reviews looked great, so I had to try it out! I went early as I visited on Saturday evening and heard this place can be crowded. I’m glad I did! I arrived around 17:45. Food: As I had my full of goulash and schnitzel during my stay in Vienna, I wanted something different. The reviews said the pork ribs and pretzel were good so I went with that. The pretzel was brought out quickly with my beer (see below), and it was warm and soft. Really nice! Strongly recommended! The ribs came a bit later (but not too long, maybe only 10 minutes after ordering). Working from the broad end to the tapered end, the ribs went from soft and tender to more tough. I recommend to go in the opposite direction to ensure you end up with the tender part! I learned my lesson. The taste was really delicious. I got the 1/2 slab, and that was more than enough for me. Not sure how anyone could eat the full slab without sharing. 😂 Beer: I had two beers, the Helles and the Marzen. Both were great. A lot of people talked about the chilli beer, but that just didn’t get my attention. 😉🍺 Service: it was fine, but as they were busy, don’t expect a lot of attention. But when they did come to my table, they were very polite. English was not a problem at all. Environment: it’s really large but gets really crowded, so I recommend to make a reservation before going to bed safe. It’s in a nice area of Vienna, so it’s great to walk off the calories after your meal. 😅 Altogether, a great place that I would strongly recommend!

Fancy a beer, especially on a hot summers day? Vienna has a couple of breweries relatively close to the centre, and the best one by far is the 7Star Bräu. When you enter, it opens to a big cavernous space around the brewing vat. As you continue to go through up a set of stairs, you come to a courtyard shaded by trees - perfect setting for the summer. 7Stern Bräu offer a typical Austrian cuisine consisting of schnitzel, Gebackene Händl (breadcrumbs encrusted chicken leg), Käsespätzle (cheesy noodles) amongst other things. Top recommendation: Gebackene Händl was super juicy as it uses the leg as opposed to a chicken breast and the crust on this one was nice and thick which gave it that extra crunch. Even better was the fact that it was deboned! It was served with a portion of potato and cucumber salad. The veggie option was Gebackene Emmental (baked cheese in breadcrumbs) which the children enjoyed. The attending staff were super friendly, accommodating to the children’s need and humours despite the heat and the amount of people. This is certainly a good place to eat and drink low key, and also, it’s quite cheap for quality and amount.

Based on the strong recommendation of the receptionist our hotel, we decided to visit this pub/brewery. The establishment itself was pleasant, offering the option to sit outside in a cozy internal garden once inside the pub. We ordered the Beef goulash with rice dumplings and a Wiener wurst with beef goulash. The food was good, with no complaints, but it didn't quite reach the level of being exceptionally amazing. On the other hand, the highlight of the experience was definitely the beers! The selection of beers was fantastic, and we thoroughly enjoyed them. However, I gave the service a rating of 4 because there was a slight misunderstanding about the beers initially. Nonetheless, the issue was resolved satisfactorily, and we were able to try the missing beer by getting it from the vending machine outside the pub. The beer we tried from the vending machine, the 7Stern Chili (as described in the attached photo), was an adventure in itself! It was incredibly spicy, so be prepared to breathe fire if you decide to give it a try! :D

If you're a beer lover, you'll love this place. You can sample the local cuisine and enjoy different types of beer they offer. This is one of the few privately own breweries where beer enthusiasts can relax in their traditional rustic ambience or in their large central beer garden. I only tried the food but my boyfriend LOVES the beer as well as the food. We went for the Viennese Schnitzel (pork) and the Original Nürnberger Rostbratwürstel (7 sausages) with sauerkraut. Both were excellent. For the entire meal duration, my boyfriend could not stop raving about how good the beers was and how it complements the food. Given it is our first night here in Vienna, I sense we will be back for more. We already purchased 6 bottle of beers to go as it was that yummy! What more do you want from a place with great ambience, delicious food with superb beers and strong muscular, friendly and amazing staff!?

Loved the atmosphere at the place! Local and traditional loved the decoration at the brewery. For beers we tried Marzen, Hamp and Chilli. As I love spicies , I was very curious about the last one and, not disappointed at all! It’s really spicy, and tastes like chilli. Give it a try only if you really enjoy chili as it replicates the flavor so well. It was interesting to drink a small one, but I won’t dare to drink a big one. My boyfriend who’s not so used to chilli, had a hard time drinking it! The other 2 were reaaally nice and enjoyable all time. We loved the food too! One of the best vegan lasagnas I have tried. The only thing we didn’t appreciate fully was that, we didn’t know tips are mandatory, and the waiter when we didn’t leave one, really showed us a very disappointing face, making us feel uncomfortable.

7Stern Bräu is a restaurant and brewery in the center of Wien five minutes from Maria-Theresien-Platz. This is a huge venue that has three halls and some seats for guests in the bar counter. The brewery has five taps of its own beer which can change depending on the season and a bottled beer vending machine with fresh and cold beers. I've tried the next beers: Prager Dunkles - Dark, roasted malt, bit caramelly Der Legendäre Bock - average bok. Strong, Dense, and a bit sweet. Märzen - malty, sweet, and full of flavor Also, the restaurant has really delicious food Austrian cuisine so in the evening hard to find a free table, so I recommend you booked to table before the visit. 7Stern Bräu in my opinion is a good place to drink local beer after walking to Wien's center, come in and you won't regret
