I would avoid this bar. While the interior is attractive and the service is acceptable, the overall experience falls short—especially given the high prices. The drinks are quite bad, poorly made, and not worth what they charge. There’s both an upstairs and a downstairs area, which gives the place a bit of space, but unfortunately, the bar’s execution doesn’t match the setting.
One particularly frustrating moment was when I saw them shaking a Sazerac, which is a clear sign that the staff lack proper cocktail knowledge. That alone says a lot. On another visit, I walked in and politely asked if we could sit at a table, and the person who seemed to be the owner—German, as far as I could tell—responded with condescension and rudeness. He treated us like schoolchildren, which was entirely uncalled for.
Between the poor drink quality, the dismissive attitude, and the high prices, I wouldn’t recommend this place. There are far better options...

We only had time for a couple of drinks, but both were excellent. We particularly liked The Third Man: a refreshing twist on a Old Fashioned and perfect for a summer evening. The rest of the menu looked really interesting too, and we would have loved try another few so we'll definitely be back to visit again.
Eli, our bartender, had a tonne of knowledge about cocktail history and classic cocktail bars in Vienna - he was really friendly and happy to chat with us, and taught us a few things we'd never heard before.
