Akakiko | Sushi & Asian Fusion — Restaurant in Vienna

I feel horrible leaving a bad review because the service was nice, however I must make it clear to anyone who's interested in real Asian food to steer clear of this place. It's cheap and cheerful, granted, especially given that it's relatively central, however the two ramens we had were a big con(fusion) of tastes. It's as if they took the worst of Japanese and Chinese cuisines and mixed them in one to come up with a hybrid that leaves you wanting more.

They were edible, and served the purpose of keeping us going for the evening, but I would never return or recommend it to anyone

Also: small warning - My partner in crime's seafood ramen promised to have duck (based on the English menu), but it had none. I'm not basing my rating on this, though, because it could simply have been a question of translation. We saw it logical because it is normal to be served seafood ramen with crisped pork on...

Bad customer service. Rude staff.

Had a disappointing experience some days ago when I decided to get inside and drink something while sending some e-mails.

First of all they didn't have any large sized drinks as shown in the menu. First red flag.

Second issue I had was that even though the restaurant wasn't full at all - mostly empty- and had at least 1 hour before closing I was approached by the waiter/manager (?) who rudely handed me over the receipt to pay.

Shocked to say the least. I was expecting more professionalism. Not recommended. Don't even want to imagine how the kitchen look like if they aren't even well stocked at what they have in their menu and the way they treat customers" even" if they are only...

i didn't think i would ever "bound" with a restaurant, but i can say now that this is my favorite restaurant. i don't live here, my friends and i came from Belgium, we were here on vacation and we came to this place 3 days in a row. the food is delicious, and all for a reasonable price (we are students). the employees are so friendly, they were happy to see us again and we were happy to eat their food again. i think i'm really gonna miss this restaurant🥹 please never close this place, we will come back in 5-10yrs, promise. i wish you all good luck! ✨you make Vienna even...
