Cafe Spanish Riding School — Restaurant in Vienna

You should not be working in a customer service industry. Annoyed tone and rude comments when we ordered at the counter. Apparently we didn't order all at once and he kept walking away to bring us the items then threw up his hands in disbelief when we wanted to order further from his establishment. We didn't even order a second croissant because we didn't want to be yelled at. We then sat down waiting for my brother to come back from the bathroom. My brother walks in and kindly asks him where the trash was so he can throw something away and was questioned by the man working there. His words were "you come into my shop, don't buy anything and ask where the trash is!" Then he rudely walked away without even answering my brother. He then walks up to my husband and I ordering us to put away our water bottles because we didn't buy them in his store. We had just spent 40 euro on a bland croissant, ham and cheese microwaved item, two small apple juices and a just okay cappuccino. I hope no one else has to cross this awful man's pathway. We were just trying to enjoy a meal before the riding show and unfortunately the beginning of our day was ruined by his horrible attitude. My mother walked over to him and told him he was rude. He said it "didn't matter." Learn some respect, manners and communication skills first then maybe you'll have days where you don't ruin other people's experiences on their vacation. This was by far my worst experience in Austria and that I have ever had of dining out. The manager/owner should not be running a business as he is mentally unstable. We sat down and were going to take our time to order. He came over and was annoyed and told everyone that there's no service on the patio which wasn't well kept and clean. The menu was mediocre and expensive. The food was terrible and coffee was horrible. As we sat down and waited for a friend to arrive we watched him get angry at other patrons and started kicking people out who wanted to enter. He came over to our table and asked us to leave for commenting about his poor customer service. This ended up in a shouting match that almost escalated into a physical fight after he pushed us out . I have never been treated this way. It put such a terrible perspective of our trip especially the riding school. It's really a disgrace to the riding school for having such a poor quality establishment to cater to their guests. Extremely disappointed. Oh dear lord!!! Do not even think of getting your foot into the door of this cafe. If I could only leave 0 stars in here I would. This was the worst experience we had in Vienna and it kind of ruined our day. The manager of the cafe, is one of the rudest people I have ever met in my life. He basically kicked us out of the garden. He first came into the garden and told us that the garden is closed and there is no service in here with a rude tone so we thought ok, we don’t want any service and just sitting here and waiting for the show. Then after 5 minutes came and said: you know what, just get out, you guys are being rude !!!! Then my partner got into it with and he started yelling and pushing my partner out the door!!! What the hell?!! Oh by the way the coffee and pastries are also dry and bland and nothing comparable to other places in Vienna. Extremely overpriced as well.
