Ristorante La Sosta — Restaurant in Vienna

Having spent a fabulous week in Vienna we arrived at La Sosta on our last night. I'd booked in advance and had the email confirmation with me. The waiter said we weren't on his list (there were only a couple of names on there) so I offered to show him my confirmation. At this point he irritably pointed vaguely into the empty restaurant. He didn't show us to a table so I had to ask where he would like us to sit. Having ordered we were brought our drinks which were warm, they obviously hadn't been chilled. We decided to let this go and give them the benefit of the doubt. We just wanted to enjoy a pleasant evening. Unfortunately when the food arrived my lasagne was literally stone cold. Tried to eat it but it was unpleasant. Having then politely voiced my concerns to the waiter he angrily took the plate away to be reheated, without any apology. At this point we decided to pay the bill and leave. What a horrible experience on our last night, especially as every genuinely Viennese restaurant we'd visited up until that point had very friendly staff and served great food. The restaurant outright refused to administer medical help to a woman in need. After repeatedly asking to allow usage of a bathroom due to intense bleeding, the restaurant directed us to a public bathroom despite of seeing that there is a clear emergency situation happening in front. Absolute disregard for other humans safety and an astonishing display of a lack of sensibility. I’d suggest training the staff for being human beings.

I came in and explained my mother is having a serious medical emergency and politely asked if she could use your bathroom as she was sitting on the floor next to your restaurant. You then said no, refusing to help a person in need and said to go search for a public toilet. After further explaining she is bleeding you still said to leave without caring. The response to attack my person instead of responding to any of my queries just proves my point about the staff in this restaurant....

Very discriminatory service. Waiter brought snacks (bread, butter, olives, dried tomatoes) not all pieces of bread were fresh, some of them were stale + there was only 6 pieces of small breads when for other tables they serve at least 8 pieces. At the end we told the waiter about it, but instead of apologizing and making amends, the manager brought us two pieces of bread as a joke on us. After snacks did not replace our dirty appliances. they brought water in a bottle but did not pour it into glasses. When we talked about poor service, the manager said that they are not a restaurant but a pizzeria and for all our comments the manager began to argue with us although the next table was served as in a luxurious restaurant. In addition, the food was not tasty. I wish them to improve...
