It was a weird experience. It was around 18h and my friend wanted Aperol and I wanted to eat some cake or pastry when we stumbled upon this place. The waitre gave us only the drinks menu, and disappeared for quite a while, when he came back we asked for the food menu because we wanted something to eat as well, he spoke English but he acted as if we were asking the strangest thing ever, he disappeared again, and just when we were about to leave he came out with a hot piece of cake and asked if this was good? I said it's okay and sat back, *big mistake*, he disappeared again only to com back with the same cake but flipped. When I tried it I found out that it tasted like the frozen brownies of the supermarket and that it was burnt... We were to tired to fight and we just asked for the bill, he *listed* the cost without giving any paper and when I asked to pay by card he insisted on money, even though the place says it accepts cards, I refused and he had to bring the machine and cherry on top was when he asked me if I wanted to leave any tip.... So, that was our delightful experience. PS: burnt frozen cake 4€, Aperol 9€

Cool laid back cozy interior. Would be great for groups. We had so much fun just me and a friend, it was fairly empty when we went on a Thursday but the cocktails were amazing (one of the best espresso martinis I’ve had in a while) and some of the best prices around (quite the selection too). We actually planned to bar hop, but stuck around because we were having so much fun. The bartender was hospitable and welcoming which made the atmosphere. Left my portable charger there at the end of the night when I visited on April 25th am hoping they have it safe for me… will report back!!

Short version: basic food and drink. Way overpriced (€30 for one cocktail and finger snacks during happy hour). Got pressured to tip the waiter for doing the bare minimum😠

Long version: I went on a Thursday afternoon around 6 pm. Was really tired exploring the city and stumbled upon this place so I went in. I was the only customer. Got one chilling banana and the finger food for one. Both the food and the cocktail are okay. Nothing special, pretty basic.

What really ruined the experience was the service. The bartender/waiter was friendly when he greeted me in, asked me where I’m from and made small talk. The drink was fast but the food took forever. I’m okay with that as I was tired and I know they need to freshly fry those food. So after my food came, I just sat quietly and enjoyed my meal. When it comes the time to get the check, the bartender came to me, without a actual bill that specifies the prices of everything I ordered. He just told me the price. I didn’t think he would lie about it, so I said okay and got my card out. He didn’t put the numbers in the machine, instead he stared down at me and said tip not included. Let me stress again I went on a Thursday afternoon at 6. Literally no one else was there so they weren’t busy, and all this man had done was to bring me my food, nothing else. He has not checked on me once after he brought me my food, didn’t ask me if I need anything else or water, or anything. I felt very uncomfortable as he said it with such righteousness like I’m supposed to tip him, so I pulled out the calculator on my phone and calculated 10% and showed it to him. He then ROUNDED UP that number and put it into the machine. This was my last meal for my entire Europe trip, and it was also the first time that I was asked for tip, let alone pressured. I got charged almost €30 for one cocktail, and the finger food for one, and this was during their happy hour 🙃 This turned out to be one of the most expensive meals I had during my entire Europe trip as a solo traveler. I’ve gotten way better food and service with less money. I searched the other reviews and no one mentioned tipping. So I think this guy was just scamming me for being a tourist. Anyways, bad experience. Just go to...

Deutschland.

Zusammenfassend würde ich nicht...
