If God came on this earth this is where he would come first. I don’t live in Vienna but I visit at least once a year and visit this place every time. I’ve been to Rome twice, not even close. The crust is thin perfection. I recommend asking for garlic on the pizza, it makes it even more perfect. Customer service is amazing, Ottakringer cold and heart happy when you leave. Pizzeria del Popolo is the people's pizza in Wien. It's unassuming, affordable, fast and delicious. Great spot for a beer, cheap drinks and damn good pizza. (BRING CASH!) The owner was very rude and demanded cash only during the payment, without any prior notice. And I never carry cash if I knew I wouldn't go there. He forced me to go the ATM machine and get cash. The machine didn't work and then he took all the cash I had and brought the machine for the rest of payment and charged me 0.5 euro extra for the use...
