Ramen Makotoya LANDSTRASSE — Restaurant in Vienna

The ramen here taste like Chinese noodle soup…the noodle type they use seems to be Chinese type noodle and soup base was definitely closer to Chinese type…I am a fan of noodles and went to more than 100 ramen restaurants in Japan…

When I went out of restaurant and see the restaurant’s chef is watching Chinese language video using his phone everything makes sense…

The male waiter here acts very fast and responds to customers, there was a young black hair lady (big nose) waitress behaved quite impatient/rude when I was ordering food.

Overall, can still go if you just want noodle soup, at least here noodle is easy to eat, not something taste terrible. But if you love authentic japanese style ramen and must want...

I had high expectations since I went to Ramen Makotoya Rathaus before a bunch of times, however I think this will be my favorite ramen spot now. The host (I don't remember the name - but it was a white guy in a half goatee/half facial hair of some sort) was incredibly welcoming from the start, greeted us with a smile despite the lack of german. And the waiter we had (with 3/4 gold earrings on one side) was also really nice. The food was amazing, the cocktails were one of a kind and the location was everything. I came to Ramen Makotoya Landstraße to have lunch with my partner today. We ordered two Crispy Chicken Dons, yeah … Crispy CHICKEN Dons. As we ate the „chicken“ we tasted a very fatty, weird textured meat which I never tasted before, since I‘ve been there plenty of times. I was very disappointed to find out that the Crispy Chicken Don was made out of pork. Not to mention that we waited approximately one hour for our so called „chicken“ to arrive, we didn’t even waste our time to tell the staff about the pork since they didn’t even acknowledge us properly.

This is so unprofessional, since my partner is muslim and can‘t eat pork.
