Unassuming and hidden gem of a more local part of Vienna. While coffee is quite heavily roasted it is also very well prepared so no complaints there. Apfelstrudel and Sacher cake both really tasty and fresh, offered in multiple serving variations (with ice cream, etc.). Something one might not expect in such a place is a locally produced wine. Papa Joe (while also one of the owners) is a red Cuvée made (funnily enough) by Papa Joe. It has a light, fruity palette. Has acidic notes but does not overpower the overall taste. We had a truly wonderful experience at Caffe Wiener Genussladen! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a break.
