Called before going to ask if I need a reservation to go me and my wife and they said that I could walk in before 11PM and it would be free of charge without a minimum spend, after 11PM would be 100 manat charge on the table, which is around 60$ understandable since this is what we pay in Dubai for 2-3 beers. Came here Saturday, august the 3rd, walked in only to get hit by oh sorry you have to pay, I was like you i discussed it with one of your associates a day before and you guys are contradicting each other? I was like its okay I will go and come back once the party starts past midnight. I go to nizami street to roam and shop till it gets past midnight only to go there and be greeted by two “supervisors” i believe, or at least thats what they think they are. The bouncers looks at them and goes like they don’t have a reservation and clearly I do and they say oh sorry, you can’t go in because of the dress code. I am wearing a black giving movement shirt with baggy jeans a converse. Kept arguing that I cant go in when I told him we enter many places wearing even less casual clothes since its hot and he goes like: YeAh ThIs Is NoT DuBaI. You both should be educated about how to treat potential customers, have some manners and work on your communication. Come to Dubai and we’ll show you the authentic ways of hospitality. Thanks for ruining a perfect trip that was supposed to end...

We came all the way from Dubai to Baku, excited to explore the city and enjoy the nightlife. But our experience at Pacifico Lounge and Dining was absolutely disgraceful.
We were denied entry simply because we didn’t fit their idea of what women should look like — we weren’t young enough, didn’t show enough skin, and didn’t have the “right” figure. Apparently, being Asian, modest, and respectful makes you unwelcome here.
This place clearly judges women based on appearance alone. They don’t care about who you are, how respectful you are, or how far you’ve come to enjoy their city. If you’re not dressed like a model or part of some ‘influencer crowd’, you’re not welcome.
We’ve partied at some of the best venues in Dubai and around the world, and never have we faced something so sexist, superficial, and demeaning. It’s 2025 — why are we still dealing with places that promote exclusion based on body type, age, or culture?
Pacifico, you need to seriously reconsider your values. Women deserve better. Tourists deserve better. Baku...
Read moreIt is deeply regrettable that my experience at Pacifico was marred by such a disappointing display of poor judgment. I have frequented elite establishments across the world — from New York to Paris to Tokyo — and not once has my attire been called into question. It has always been recognized as entirely appropriate for venues of the highest standard.
The decision by the manager on this occasion (a woman, whose name I was not offered) to deem me “unsuited” to the atmosphere was not only superficial, but frankly insulting to both myself and to the reputation of the club she represents. Her judgment betrayed a startling lack of sophistication, an outdated understanding of contemporary fashion, and a concerning failure to recognize the expectations of an international, elite clientele.
It was, at best, a shallow and uninformed assessment — at worst, a reflection of personal bias masquerading as professionalism.
One expects more from a venue that claims to belong in the company of the world’s finest. On this occasion, Pacifico fell...
