United Coffee Beans — Restaurant in Baku City

It was a café I used to visit every time I came to Baku. But this time, I decided never to set foot there again. I ordered food and a drink. A cat was roaming around the café (I’m allergic to them!), and it jumped on me. I asked the staff to remove it because I felt uncomfortable eating. They took it away twice, then just gave up, and the cat ended up sitting literally above my head.

The staff did nothing! I love animals and places that welcome them, but if you keep a cat, make sure it doesn’t jump on guests and disturb them. In the end, I didn’t even finish half of my meal, asked them to take it away, and didn’t drink my beverage. I paid, and they didn’t even ask why I left everything unfinished.

Terrible service. There are cafés in Baku with much better quality and far superior service!

Answer to UCB : First of all, no one offered me to change my seat. I told your staff three times that I was uncomfortable. Secondly, when I asked for my food to be taken away, your worker saw that my plate was still full, the cat was right above my head, and you just smirked and took my plate.

If you care so much about animals, don’t leave them so hungry that they start climbing into guests’ plates. It’s incredibly low of you to lie like this when I left completely upset—not because of the animal, but because of how your staff treated...

I recently had the pleasure of stopping by United Coffee Beans for breakfast, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The cozy ambience of the café instantly made me feel at home, and the added bonus of it being pet-friendly meant I could enjoy my meal with my furry companion by my side.

I ordered a flat white and a cheese omelette, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The flat white was expertly crafted, with a rich and smooth flavor that hit all the right notes. The cheese omelette was cooked to perfection, with a generous filling of gooey cheese that melted in my mouth with every bite.

While the prices at United Coffee Beans may be slightly higher than some other cafés, the quality of the food and the welcoming atmosphere more than make up for it. Plus, the ability to bring along my pet made the experience even more enjoyable.

Wow!! We were blown away by this place. It was recommended by a friend and we are super glad we went. Everything impressed us. Service, quality, attention to detail, decor, the coffee, the food, the creativity. Just great. I was thrilled to have some AeroPress coffee, which was excellent. We ate the Egg Burrito, the Banana Bread, and the Avocado Toast, plus several drinks. The Banana Bread was amazing and LOADED with extra nuts and toppings. But by far my personal favorite was the Egg Burrito. Believe me when I say I’ve had LOTS of “breakfast” style burritos—including those from the part of the world where they were invented. But I’ve never had anything better than this. The flavor was amazing, the texture and assembly was perfect. I would go here way too often if I lived close by.
