Malacannes in Baku has become my go-to spot every time I’m in the city. The coffee here is simply perfect — rich, aromatic, and brewed just right every single time. The atmosphere is effortlessly elegant: cozy indoor seating with vibrant décor, and a peaceful outdoor view that makes it ideal for both work and relaxation.

What truly makes the experience stand out is the team. Kamil, Ilham and Shamy are always welcoming, friendly, and attentive — they remember your preferences and make you feel at home. The place is led by Faten who’s an awesome attentive person to details.

If you’re into shisha, ask for Pehnam — he manages it masterfully, always ensuring the quality and flavor...

The food was good, but overpriced. Unfortunately, several things made the overall experience TERRIBLE: They don’t actually accept card payments. They bring a card machine, but it doesn’t work, and then they blame it on your card (even though mine worked everywhere else in Baku). This forces you to pay in CASH — and coins aren’t accepted either. When we were leaving, a staff member HARASSED us to leave a 5-star review on Google, even going so far as to grab my friend’s phone and try to click it themselves!!

Because of that second experience, it’s clear that the high rating here is fake. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME — there are plenty of better places in Baku with better food, proper card payment, and no staff harassing you for...
