I stayed at Grand Midway Hotel, Baku from October 1st to 4th, 2024, and had a truly disappointing experience, particularly with the breakfast service and staff behavior.||I had informed the hotel the night before that I would need breakfast at 6:45 AM as I had to leave early. Despite the breakfast spread being ready, I was rudely refused entry until 7:00 AM. When I entered at 7 and started to serve myself, the staff snatched the plate from my hand and insisted I wait until 7:15. This behavior was shockingly unprofessional and disrespectful.||What made it worse was the receptionist, Orkhan, who had the audacity to question why I needed to have breakfast at the hotel at all, suggesting I go outside instead. Toilets were clean. But toilet in one of the rooms had a foul smell.||The access to the hotel in very inconvenient. One side opens on to the nizami walking street. So if you arrive with luggage, you have to stop your vehicle at a distance and walk with your luggage to the building. The other side opens to a very narrow one-way street. If your vehicle stops there to unload your luggage, a long line of honking vehicles build up behind you in no time||Brekfast...
