Xezer Restaurant — Restaurant in Baku City

WOW!! By far, one of the BEST places to eat in Baku! This hard to find underground restaurant is a must visit if you are in Baku. It is located in a side street close to Hard Rock Cafe. The restaurant signs are hard to find but you must try to find it because the food is simply delish!

They mostly have local dishes and most of them are mouth watering!

As the place is at lower level, the place is designed as a cave (a very common theme in Baku). The service is also good and the food arrives fast. Not all the waiters speak English, but the menu has pictures and English description so no problem.

This is the worst dining experience I've ever had in my life, completely lacking in service. One particular server had a cold and even contemptuous attitude. When we asked for plates, we were told there weren't any. Then when the food arrived, we were expected to take the plates ourselves. Finally, after finishing our meal, we were told to clear our own table—demanding that we dump napkins and leftovers into the trays ourselves. The attitude was utterly rude! Super rude waiter + trick you into believing that they accept credit cards. If you really want to have mediocre food in a dark/dirty underground dungeon with rude waiters, do it! I walked in when seeing credit card logos on their door, but when paying the bill they suddenly refused to take the cards and hustled me to use cash! When I tried to explain that this is a work trip and I cannot pay by cash they became super rude, one waiter tore my receipt and threw it in the trash bin trying to threaten me! But even before all these at the very beginning the waiter was super rude, almost throwing food to me...
