Overall, the soup was good, the eggplants salad was very good, and the mixed grill for two was decent.

The service was good and the staff were nice, but I was overcharged for an item that didn’t order or eat, jacking up the bill by 60%. When I informed them they insisted that I should’ve said something sooner.

I chose the restaurant for its reviews and at first everything seemed GREAT. I asked the waiter about the mixed grill combo and he responded that it was lamb, chicken, and beef and it’s usually 12 skewers for 4 people, so he can make it 6 skewers for two. When the order arrived I discovered that they added two fish skewers that I didn’t order and didn’t eat.

When the bill came, I alerted the waiter to the issue of added fish skewers (44 manat per skewer!!!!) that I didn’t order or eat(jacking up the total from 124 to 212 Manat). The waiter then called a bunch of people and the back and forth went on for 10-15 minutes. The waiter who took my order claimed that he told me that that the mixed grill had fish and that I should’ve said something sooner etc….The manager offered to charge me for one extra skewer instead of the two. I informed the manager that I wasn’t looking for a discount and they should either do the right thing and charge me for what I ordered and ate or keep everything as is because I felt it was a scam. Their final proposal was to only remove one skewer out of the two because they didn’t want me to feel scammed!!!! TOO LATE!

They kept on saying it isn’t about money, but I should’ve said something sooner and not waited until the end. When I realized this wasn’t going anywhere, I told them to charge me the full amount because I refuse an unfair settlement. I ended paying the bill with the extra charges but I’m going to contact my credit card company to dispute the extra charges they insisted that I pay.

Other reviews have encountered similar surcharges but on a much smaller scale! I guess I’m not the only one! Check other one star reviews!

I’ll let the credit card company...

Firuze Restaurant, located in the city center of Baku, offers a convenient location and an elegant atmosphere, but my overall experience was underwhelming. The restaurant's exterior is inviting, and the warm lighting inside gives off a cozy yet sophisticated feel. However, despite the promising first impression, the overall dining experience did not meet my expectations.

When we arrived without a reservation, we were told there would be a wait, which is fair for a busy spot in the heart of the city. After about 15 minutes, we were escorted to our table. The staff was professional but not particularly friendly or welcoming. While the initial wait was manageable, the rest of the evening progressed at a frustratingly slow pace.

After placing our order, we waited almost 30 minutes for the food to arrive. During this time, the service was minimal—no one checked in with us or provided updates. For a restaurant in such a prime location with a strong reputation, the wait was disappointing. When the food finally arrived, it wasn’t visually appealing, lacking the presentation you would expect from a place with so much hype.

In terms of taste, the dishes were average at best. While the food was edible, it lacked the rich flavors or unique touches that would make it stand out. Given how much the restaurant is talked about, I expected something far more impressive. The portions were acceptable, but the overall quality didn’t justify the long wait or the glowing reviews I had heard before visiting.

Overall, Firuze Restaurant's central location in Baku and its inviting ambiance are positives, but the slow service and underwhelming food make it hard to recommend. If you're already nearby and curious, it might be worth trying, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit again. There are better dining options in the city that offer superior food and service without the extended wait times and...

We have visited this place in the first and last days of our trip. Have tried over 7 others restaurants in between, but Feruzo is the best one. Very careful and respectful staff. Fast serving and super tasty food. Would recommend to visit not once.

We had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant—truly the best meal we’ve had during our stay in Baku!

The food was absolutely delicious. My personal highlight was the cabbage dolma with raisins and chestnuts—such a unique and flavorful dish. The eggplant salad was also outstanding and definitely worth trying.

A big thank you to our waiter (unfortunately, we don’t know his name), but he was simply wonderful—very attentive, kind, and helpful throughout the evening. The service was excellent and made the whole experience even better.

Our tour guide recommended this place to us, and we are so glad we followed his advice. We’re even thinking about coming back again before we leave Baku.

Everyone was talking about this restaurant, so we had to try it. The place was very crowded, and the tables weren't very clean. The food portions weren't very big, especially when ordering grills. It's better to order everything at once because it's hard to call the waitress again. You must try it, but be prepared to be...

On July 8th, after breakfast in Seki, we took a bus to Baku. I came without any food or even water on the way, and then we took the bolt from the Baku bus station to the hotel. After checking in, we walked to this restaurant for dinner, ate dinner at Firuze, stopped by a nearby mosque, and then stopped by Crescent Mall to do some shopping, then returned to the hotel and slept. The only thing we ate that day was breakfast at the hotel in Seki and dinner at this restaurant. However, our stomach started hurting early in the morning, and we had several diarrhea, so we had to go to the bathroom several times, and my wife even suffered from severe stomach pain. I think there was a problem with some food in the restaurant that was infected. There was no problem after breakfast, but the problem occurred about 12 hours after our dinner. Due to our flight time, we could not go to the restaurant and complain. We are at the lounge to wait for the flight but are still suffering from stomach aches. The food was good and delicious but I can not give 5 stars.
