My family and I came here today after reading glowing online reviews. We were all INCREDIBLY disappointed. First of all, our waitress was extremely rude to us. She brought us the wrong food TWICE and then forgot to bring out an appetizer completely even after we asked two times (we never ended up getting it). In the end, one of the dishes that they got incorrect they ended up just giving to us anyways. She said the other dish would take longer and basically just asked if we would just take this one instead. Moreover, even though she got our orders wrong over and over again she never once apologized and instead was incredibly impolite and very impatient. The food in total took over an hour to arrive. There were other tables (of six people) that arrived after us, ate, and left before we had even gotten our food. My mother only ordered a salad and a soup and the salad was the last thing to arrive (1.5 hours later) after the waitress had forgotten about it as well. Ultimately the food wasn’t even that good. I would recommend any of the restaurants in Arawak Cay over this one. In the end, this restaurant’s food was very mediocre (little to no flavor), was incredibly slow, and the staff was very very rude. Would...

If you have any dietary restrictions please skip this place. Terrible customer service. I asked for the soup of the day. Was told one was okra soup. When I received the soup I noticed there was something that looked like pork in the soup so I asked to replace it for conch salad. All this took place within 2-4 minutes. The server told me that I would have to pay for the soup. I told him I refused because I never tasted one sip of the soup. I believe his name is Santana or Santiago idk. Business practices are so backwards. I ordered lobster as my entree but you rather try and nickel and dime a customer over a small soup order. Is business really that bad for you?

Decor: Dated and gaudy. Everything looked old and not so clean.

Conch salad was literally two tablespoons of food.

Refuses to make a mocktail version of their alcoholic drinks which is just odd. How hard is it to make a non-alcoholic pina colada? Service was disgustingly bad. Not sure how they’re still...

Quaint restaurant. Seemed like a hole in the wall in downtown Nassau. Service wasn’t unfriendly, just not very communicative. There were 3 people in waiting in line when we got there. Two eventually left. We waited a couple of more minutes until we were finally seated. We waited a few minutes until a friendly server took our order. We were given our main dish (seafood platter with grouper, cracked conch, plantains and shrimp) before our appetizer. We had to inform the server about this cause he did not know. They didn’t look terribly busy, but the service seemed a bit disorganized and didn’t communicate well with patrons or each other. The conch fritters were delicious and so was the lobster salad. We ate the lobster salad last and it was a refreshing finish. Good food. Whether it was authentic or not, i don’t know, but I do recommend eating here. Give yourself time, because you my...

Omg!! I can't say enough about this place! We actually were trying to go to Margaritaville, then found out they were on a different Island...THEN we attempted to go to Sénor Frog..but they are closed. So I have already Google Bahamian Cooking as a "on the way back to the boat"- Pickup to try it because we saw such great reviews..and wanted some authentic Bahamian food. LISTEN!!! If you EVER port in Nassau...PLEASE stop by this gem! I've never been so happy for the other place to be unavailable. It's like the food gods were looking out for us! Lol! We had the Cracked Conch and the fried Grouper fingers. Rice & peas potato salad, veggies and of course plantains. The food was seasoned to perfection!! My palette right now is singing all the praises to me! So if you're ever on a cruise and you're porting in Nassau...TRY THEM!! You will NOT be disappointed!!
