Joey's — Restaurant in New Providence

My first visit here was wonderful as I had the grouper dinner with peas and rice, coleslaw, and macaroni and everything on my plate was finger licking excellent. My husband's cracked conch wasn't as seasoned as I'd like it and the conch fritters didn't inspire me to purchase again (though the fritters sauce has been one of the best I've tasted). But everyone who ate with us really enjoyed their food (crack conch dinner and fish burger)

I liked it so much, I went back 2days later to grab a grouper snack. The grouper was good again but I unfortunately had fries that were a little older than I'd like. They surely offered to replace them though. And the fries my friend had a few nights before where great, so I wouldn't discount them too much. That happens sometimes.

I love that they have their private bathrooms for guests. The decor (though currently under renovation) is modern and beautiful. The service was great! We had friendly, and engaging servers that gave us great suggestions and periodically checked on us to make sure we were satisfied. I definitely...

Joey's is a 1000/100. As a local I was very pleased with everything that was served and the service. Very much a warm and welcoming atmosphere. But back to the food, the fritters were conch loaded, had the perfect balance of spice not overpowered by thyme. The grill conch was loaded. The frozen drinks did not disappoint and were just as displayed. I brought 8 friends from abroad with me and when I dropped them back to the cruise they spoke highly of the great food and time that they had. And thar is how you make a lasting impression. If you are torn between Goldie’s and Joey’s, go to Joey’s. The restaurant may not be as big as Goldie’s but it still seats a decent amount of people in a party. The food was seasoned down in my opinion. Prior to eating at Joey’s we were seated at Goldie’s and the food looked very dry so we decided to eat at Joey’s.
