First off, let's discuss the service - or lack thereof. We had a large party, which had been reserved in advance. They assigned a server, who also had several other tables - at least I assume she did, because we only saw her about once every ten minutes or so. The appetizers were pretty good - I sure wish we had stopped there. The entrée i ordered was a Lobster Thermador (about $40) and I was "upsold" to add Conch and shrimp for another $20 - what arrived (see picture) was a nasty mess of overcooked seafood - only one bite of it was lobster, that I could find. No that it mattered, because the glop they served me was inedible, which I told the server, who just shrugged, and walked away. So, $60 for garbage food that I didn't even eat. This place was promoted by our hotel, and the cab driver so hard that the cabbie literally walked us in, then collected her "finder fee" right in front of us - very subtle. If you wind up at the Fish Fry market, I suggest ANY OTHER PLACE of the 35 available - this place was trash.

My mom and I ate here during our first vacation in the Bahamas. We were supposed to eat at a restaurant a little further down on the Fish Fry strip but I really wasn’t feeling it. Okay so we get ourselves settled inside this restaurant right across from the fake cheetah and we order: calamari, conch fritters (appetizers) and the lobster & salmon in a butter cream/wine sauce - plate to share - which included 3 sides. Talk about excellent! Everything was good but especially the lobster/salmon combo. Heck! I credit myself for the menu selection. It was a win & we were given complimentary Bahama Momas. The service was great & we didn’t wait long for our food. Really excellent experience, food, and people.

I wanted to try a restaurant that really represented the Bohemian menu and several locals recommended this as the spot. It was about a ten minute cab ride from the cruise ship ports. It was worth it! I had the red snapper deep fried and cover in a salsa that was sweet and spicy. The fish was so crispy on the out side but I was able to quite literally peel the entire skeleton from the meat. It was delicious! It came with rice which was incredibly aromatic and so goood! Also had a creamy Cole slaw and fried plantains. If you go to Nassau Bahamas and want some amazing food make the trip over and enjoy. The place is super decorated and gets crowded but it just adds to the vibe.

BEWARE!!! They stole my credit card information and attempted to make a fraudulent $500 purchase at Louis Vuitton within hours of leaving there. The waitress said the card reader she was using in front of me wasn't working so she needed to bring it to the card reader in the office behind the bar. She was gone for less than 30 seconds. I had an uneasy feeling so I asked to pay cash instead but she apparently had already taken a picture of my card. I confirmed with the bank she/they used my card info on Google pay or Apple pay and tried to make an online purchase. Fortunately it was declined by my bank. This particular card happens to be my backup credit card (if Amex is not accepted) and literally the ONLY place/time I used it the entire time on vacation.

We called to speak to the manager and he was very sarcastic and unapologetic.

The restaurant itself is pretty grimy and the food was pretty gross.

Only reason we went here was because our driver so highly recommended it.

Looking back I'm thinking it is a pretty well concocted scam. Drivers recommend it to tourists, credit card info gets stolen, goods get purchased fraudulently then kickbacks to the drivers.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! NOT WORTH THE...
