Read moreGenuinely Surprised. I ordered the fried Red Snapper. It was excellent. But more outstanding was the sides and beverages. The Bahama Mammas were some of the best I ever had anywhere. The potato salad was so good and tasty, I thought somebody's grandmother was in the kitchen: there were no large chunks of the usual veggies, but all you could taste was the excellently prepared potato. Sime of the best I've ever had. That along with an excellently prepared plantains that had the right sweetness and texture. The corn on the cob was excellently ptepared as well. After dinning I congratulated the cook or chef for an excellent meal. BTW, the decor was something out of the 1950's with knotty pine ceilings and walls. PLEASE NOTE This is not a linine table cloth restaurant. It is rustic, simple and plain, with food to knock...

After 20’ or so, we got the first plate served inside a plastic black bag with a small plastic box inside (we were sit on a table; you expect something different). In the meanwhile they were serving different boxes and plastic bags to other customers. After 45’ we asked again for the second portion, which was in preparation (??). We decided to leave, paid everything (they charged also the second one). Never again. The fried shrimps were nothing special, with too savory breading that covered the taste of the fish. Nothing great and better places to go there...
