My recent visit to Chilekotha left me utterly disappointed and frustrated. I had high hopes for a delightful dining experience from their Facebook marketing , but unfortunately, the reality fell far short of my expectations. From the moment I stepped inside, the atmosphere was anything but inviting. The restaurant was enveloped in an eerie quietness and dim lighting, which only added to the unsettling feeling. To make matters worse, the persistent presence of mosquitoes made it difficult to focus on anything other than swatting them away.
The initial blow to my patience came in the form of an excruciating 50-minute wait before we were even acknowledged, let alone served. It was a test of patience that only set the tone for what was to come. When our orders finally arrived, the shock was palpable โ they had gotten our dishes completely wrong. What struck me as even more baffling was the fact that no one bothered to inform us about the unavailability of the dishes we had initially chosen. The lack of transparency about such a basic matter was disheartening and left me feeling like an afterthought.
As I ventured to taste the food, my hopes for redemption were dashed once again. The food quality was nothing short of disappointing. The flavors were lackluster, as if they had been hastily prepared without attention to detail.
The final blow to my dining experience was the abysmal service. The staff's attitude seemed indifferent and detached, as if they were merely going through the motions without any genuine concern for the patrons' satisfaction.
In conclusion, my impression of this restaurant is overwhelmingly negative. The ambiance was far from inviting, plagued by darkness and mosquitoes. The mishap with our orders highlighted a severe lack of communication and customer service skills. To top it all off, the service was unacceptably poor, leaving me with an overall sense of frustration and dissatisfaction. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a pleasant...

The first impression we had was the restaurant was quiet and empty. We ordered their kabab platter 2 with Rupchada fish (which we came to know about from their Facebook page advertisement). While we had to wait for a long time for the food, we have seen quite a few mosquitos. When we requested the restaurant staff for aerosol spray, there was no response for a long time. Then we were informed that we ran out of aerosol.
Then comes the biggest surprise. After waiting for 50 minutes for a working lunch (at first they informed us it would take them 20 minutes to serve and we also informed them that we had to return to office so they should try to be quick), they started serving a wrong platter. They served us a lunch platter (which included no kabab items and fish). When we objected that it was not that we ordered, they informed us that they did not have the fish or kabab items available.
We rejected to have the wrong platter for lunch and politely left the place after wasting an hour of our time.
My point is that it is perfectly fine that they might not have some of the items available, but they should have informed us beforehand and taken our consent before preparing the food. They can not just serve a wrong platter and try to trick us or force us to take the food. On top that, they wasted one hour of our time during a working day.
Pathetic dining experience to say the least. Not going to recommend this restaurant to...

Though it says 12pm, they start their service but unfortunately we found out, they were just cleaning and preparing their place until 1 pm. And took time to take our order and serve the meal nealy 2 PM. As it located at Banani where most of Commercial offices lodge in, we expect them to well prepared before opening time of the restaurant so that customers get their service in time and go back to their work on time as well. (After finish my lunch , I was late 1 hr for my work ๐). Chilekotha should consider their service quality seriously.
