We ate at this restaurant yesterday. Friends arrived at the restaurant before us and the restaurant owner wouldn't let them in saying he never had a reservation under that name. Of course we had proof. After a few minutes, he came back to tell us quite rudely that he wanted us to order all the food at once. We have not reacted until the. Everything was going well until we asked for plates to eat. The waitress told us that the price per plate was 1 euro. my girlfriend then asked her why 1 euro per plate and she replied, "my boss asked me to take 1 euro per plate from YOU". A little annoyed by the situation, my girlfriend asked for an explanation. The boss therefore arrived and we therefore asked him why 1 euros per plate and where is he noted that. He answered in my head with a mocking tone. We then asked him how we could eat without a plate and he didn't answer. He then said that if we weren't happy, we can go otherwise "I will kick you out". So we took that comment badly and asked to repeat it so we could have a video of it but of course he changed his version. So we didn't eat and paid the 151 euros and left this place. when he left he told us see you on google and facebook. This is not the first time this has happened in this restaurant with indian. They are Racist with Indian people...
Read moreI have to say I was a bit skeptical at first, but the food here surprised me a lot. We went with a group of four and we made our reservations a week before. One of my friends has a severe peanut allergy and the staff members were really helpful about it. They made sure the chance of cross contamination was small.
I had the falafel with baba ganoush and a portion of feta on the side. Honestly, this is the best falafel I’ve ever had. It was tasty, crispy and not too fat. The baba ganoush was also really good. I’m positively surprised and I would definitely come here again. As far as I’m concerned, the others were happy with their food as well. A steak was ordered, perfectly cooked and two mix plate’s were ordered which were very tasty. Portions are definitely big enough. I personally do not understand the comments that say the restaurant is a bit expensive, because it really isn’t.
The atmosphere was nice. There’s indoor and outdoor seating available. It was a bit crowded, but the service was fast either way. Clean...
Read moreWe took a falafel plate at Napo’s through Deliveroo, which was very disappointing.
The price of this plate was 13 euros and it was incredibly small. And honestly this plate is very overpriced. To give an example, a falafel bread dish was 7 euros - just 10 falafel balls was 7 euros. The only thing we got more now with the plate was a very small salad.
There was not even hummus included which made the dish taste super dry. Bread was not fresh at all, became already hard. To top it off, found even a small fly inside my dish.
The only good thing to say is that it were actually really well tasting falafel balls.
Ofcourse, with this Deliveroo order review I am only judging the food part, no service or friendliness but I really do believe that you should represent your restaurant as good as possible in every possible different way, and this gave a bad impression...
