Very enjoyable dining experience in Fons last night after some ropey dining experiences elsewhere over the last week. The ambience and decor sets the scene for a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience. It was my wife’s birthday so we wanted a memorable evening. The staff looking after us were really excellent from the start to the finish of the evening. My wife had a lovely foie gras starter and I had white asparagus. It was close to where I stayed, and every night the restaurant seemed full, so I decided to go dine out at the end of my trip. There was only Dutch menu, but server explained me in English. I ordered steak and wine, I didn’t want to have French fries on side, so I asked salad potion can be increased instead, but he maybe didn’t understand what I asked for. I’d appreciate if they did it.
