A very interesting and unique restaurant! After we sat down and had a look at the menu, the owner came over to say hello and have a little chit chat. It was a very nice gesture since it wasn't that busy at the time. Later on he went back to the kitchen to cook the food. When he brought us the food it was so delicious but still very unique, not like any other butter chicken I had before. When we were finished he came back to us to ask us if we enjoyed our dinner in wich we replied: yes it was great! The owner quickly explained that he cooked everything himself and that he got the recipes from his mother and puts his own spin/twist on it. He doesn't go for the traditional Indian route and in this case I really liked that. The only thing I personally wished was a little bit more traditional or prepared differently would be the naan, mine was very sweet and a little (tiny) bit dry. But overall amazing food! Oh and a fun fact: we ate extremely scared of wasps and the owner noticed and tried to help by swapping away any...
Read moreWe came here after reading the reviews and we were highly disappointed and we were not the only ones. The food took forever to come out and they forgot part of it. The waitress was very nice and apologized but we observed that the other customers were also complaining about timing and orders being wrong. The food was not as good as I expected. The chicken madras was not spicy at all and tasted the same as the lamb van shad. The samosas were plain. There was a lot of yelling coming out of the kitchen also. And last but not least the size of the portions were pretty small for the actual price that you pay. In general, I think they were more busy taking and preparing the phone orders than to serve the people actually there. I cannot recommend this place and I really hope that they improve it for the people coming next time. As I said we were very enthusiastic with the idea of trying it and unfortunately it did not live to our...
Read moreThe owner was extremely nice and friendly. However, we were confused as he said that the prices on the banner outside (and thus online as well) are wrong as he adapted them. Indeed, the menu had different prices with some things cheaper and most starters more expensive. His family and his kid were sitting outside the whole time, screaming, playing, talking on the phones, video chatting etc. This was extremely distracting. The food itself was tasty enough, I could eat it again. It was nicely served, warm, the naans were definitely fresh. The food wasn't spicy at all, even though we asked for spicy, we got very mild. The waiting time was okay, I don't think it took too long. Overall, it's an okay place, I don't think I will be back, for the prices the food is not worth it. Also, don't bring your...
