If you're tossing up between Balthasar and another toast focused place for Breakfast in Brugge... choose this one. Let's start with the Cons: It is popular.... so seating is at a premium, book ahead or get in early. That is it. Pros: SERVICE & SPACE: Super friendly, efficent and prompt. BB has wide open spaces and they constantly monitor the number of patrons to ensure everyone is comfortable. (Unlike the other breakfast place that was so crowded, with tables and chairs so close together they blocked the aisles and we were constantly bumped and jostled) COFFEE : Really good, strong, perfectly balanced Flat White. JUICES: Freshly squeezed, not in a bottle. FOOD : Really Fresh, tasty ingredients that combined very well in the Parmaham toast we shared. Delightful. AMBIENCE: Fun, playful, casual not too noisy but a great vibe.

Overall a Very Pleasant Breakfast Experience. We will return tomorrow ! Update We did and it was just as good as yesterday. Well done to...

Balthasar Brugge is a place I've only managed to visit once in my life, despite numerous attempts. The long waiting list makes it nearly impossible to secure a table without booking days in advance. The anticipation is high, but the challenge of getting a reservation can be quite frustrating.

Once inside, the staff's friendliness stands out. They are attentive and welcoming, adding a positive touch to the dining experience. The food tastes great, with each dish crafted carefully and bursting with flavor. However, the prices are quite steep, which can feel disproportionate to the overall experience.

Given the difficulty of booking and the high cost, we ultimately decided to look for another brunch spot. While Balthasar Brugge offers delicious food and excellent service, the combination of long wait times and high prices makes it a place for special occasions rather than a regular brunch...

We had an absolutely delightful experience at this breakfast and brunch restaurant! From the moment I stepped in, the aroma of freshly made waffles filled the air, making my mouth water in anticipation. The waffles were perfection - golden and crispy on the outside, yet light and fluffy on the inside. Topped with strawberries and a dollop of whipped cream, each bite was pure bliss. The friendly and attentive staff added to the overall wonderful atmosphere, making it a memorable visit. We can't wait to return and indulge in more of their delicious waffle creations! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a scrumptious breakfast or...
