I wouldn't say the food was spectacular, but perhaps my view of this place was already marred by the extra €3.50 charge there was on sharing food. We're travelling here as a group of 4 relatively small Asian girls (aka with appetites that are nowhere near able to finish a meal on our own). Ordered a pizza and a pasta (each costing €16 and €16.50). The waiter told us that there would be a €3.50 per extra sharing plate, so we declined having any, but he said that there would be a charge anyways because we are sharing, and that it would be better to just order 2 pizza breads which were €3.50 anyways (and nevermind that we wouldn't be able to finish it). A definite issue is the cleanliness of the plates/dishes. Of the four empty sharing plates we got, one was visibly dirty, and the others still had oil stains. If you're going to order a dish per person, great, you won't have any problems. But if you're someone who likes to share what you order because you can't really finish the relatively larger western portion sizes, then this restaurant is definitely not for you, and there are many more that you can choose from with better value. I've personally never come across such a ridiculous charge and will probably never come back, but again, you won't face any problems if you can finish your food and order a dish per person. Food was decent.

Highly recommended! The food was really good and the prices seemed totally fair for what they served in quality and quantity. They have 3-course menus that seem to be a really good value (starting at 25ish). Just know that the portion size is smaller than if you take the respective items a la carte at full price - we could see that much at other tables. I can especially recommend the graved salmon salad as starter. Not only was it absolutely delicious, the cuts of salmon were way thicker than what you usually get when ordering salmon besides Sashimi. The salad was Huge for a starter and definitely a great choice if you’re hungry. The Moules Frites portion size is really big, especially considering they gave us two different servings of bread before the starters with butter and a pate which was also pretty good. The soup of the day was pumpkin and the fish of the day was dorade, we didn’t try any of the two. I would definitely stop by again!

UPDATE 21 May 2023: went back to Bruges for the Procession of the Holy Blood and couldn’t resist returning here for a meal. One of our absolute favorites in all of Europe as the owners are absolutely amazing people! Much love for this restaurant!!! Original: Wonderful cozy little restaurant. The limoncello tonic is a must try, along with the curry chicken risotto and carbonara! Great spot for a dinner date, or family dinner! The owners are absolutely amazing, and truly take care of every customer. We went back each night of our weekend stay to try new dishes and enjoy the atmosphere!

Rude waiter / manager. Took drinks order didn't come back. When I asked if we could have a couple more minutes he snapped back and said the kitchen was closing at 9.30 so no I couldn't. Ordered main courses only. They brought some nibbles then a starter to share which we hadn't ordered. Was a beef carpaccio which was actually the best part of the experience but they put it on table and walked off without even saying what it was.... Good job we weren't vegetarians!! Eventually brought the bottle of wine I ordered. Manager waiter Leaned across me and literally just grunted as he put it on table and walked off..... Didn't show me label or even take off the cap!! Main courses came, my pasta was in a chipped dish and was cold. No-one came to check and by the time I'd attracted waitresses attention my guest had eaten nearly all of theirs which they ate I a hurry as was tepid. She said sorry and took it away with no explanation of what she would do next. A few mins later manager waiter appeared with same dish - still cold!! No-one came back agin to check everything was OK. It's listed as fine dining? I think they've got a long way to go before that!! Awful dining more like Avoid unless you like rubbish food served by surly staff! Even had the cheek to still charge...
