Even though they serve drinks and have chairs in front of their café, they don’t have customer restrooms. My 3 year old daughter almost had an accident when we asked the staff whether we could use the restroom, which turned out to be reserved for staff only. My 5 year old was waiting with our coffee and waffles in the outside seating area. We were told that “no”, my 3 year old could not use the restroom as they’d expect a multiple thousand euros fine if they let us use it. We were told to use the restrooms in a restaurant across the street where we only received rude comments and eye rolls when I tried to explain the situation to the staff there. Dirt, rudeness all combined! I came back to the shop after 2019 (which was the last time I was in Brugge) and the staff was extremely rude-no wondering why the shop was empty. The toppings were full of flies(!!) and I told this to the cashier (who didn’t seem to care) and she responded to me with the following phrase “I can see that, I am not blind”. Then, the other employee had an accident, a lot of waffles fell on the floor and I thought that she would throw them in the bin. Instead, she took them from the floor and she put them back!!!!
