I recently had the pleasure of staying at a boutique hotel that truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that made me feel right at home. The service was impeccable - every staff member went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction throughout my stay. One of the highlights of this hotel is its remarkable art collection. From stunning paintings to captivating sculptures, every corner of the hotel is adorned with pieces that spark intrigue and appreciation. It truly felt like staying in a gallery, with each artwork adding to the ambiance and charm of the space. And let's not forget the pièce de résistance - the Louis Vuitton lift. Riding in this luxurious elevator was an experience in itself, adding a touch of glamour to every trip up and down the hotel floors. Overall, my stay at this boutique hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of top-notch service, a welcoming atmosphere, and a breathtaking art collection made it a truly unforgettable experience. I can't wait to return and immerse myself in its unique blend of luxury and comfort once again.

I had the pleasure of staying at Relais Bourgondisch Cruyce even for just one night, but it was such a memorable experience! It was my first visit to Brugge. The room was absolutely stunning, elegant, cozy and beautifully designed. The location is amazing and the view even better 😍 I really love it! Visiting in mid-November, I was pleasantly surprised to feel the warm, festive charm of Christmas already in the air, which made the stay even more special ♥️ The staff were incredibly kind and attentive. Before I left, they thoughtfully offered me a coffee or tea to go, a small but very considerate gesture… Unfortunately, I was too busy juggling my luggage to accept, but it truly highlighted the care they put into their hospitality 🥹 One unexpected but delightful detail was the lovely scent throughout the hotel. It instantly put me at ease and made the space feel even more welcoming and relaxing 🌷🪻🌹 Although my stay was short, everything about it was exceptional. I can’t wait to return to Bruges and stay here again, it’s a place that feels like a luxurious home away from home…

We could not fault this delightful small hotel, where we stayed for two nights at Christmas market time. The atmosphere was gorgeous from the moment you approach the door, and the welcome inside was warm and helpful, all in perfect English. Our air-conditioned room was comfortable and elegant, with period furniture to match the age of the ancient building, and a smart shower room. The breakfast room looks out onto the most picturesque canal junction in the city, and you can enjoy free coffee or tea there or anywhere in the hotel, at any time of day. Breakfast was elegant, with silver pots and linen tablecloths, and perfectly-cooked eggs, or the best waffles in town, light and crispy. There is no better location in Bruges. I want to go back!

One word - magical. Our whole experience was simply magical. We stayed for one night in mid February and loved every minute in the hotel. We chose it after carefully comparing other great hotels in the area and know that we made the perfect choice. The view from our room over the canal was magical. Yes, the room (#11) was small (or quaint) but it didn't feel tight at all. The configuration made it easy to store bags in the built-in closet so that they didn't take up floor space. We also loved sitting by our window and gazing at the canal both morning and night. The other nice thing was that the hotel's iconic location made it easy to find Bruges momentos with the hotel on it. We actually returned home with a puzzle with the canal view of the hotel on it. I love it! The breakfast was also spectacular. Delicious choice of food items, each one prepared in a special way. The location was perfect. Just a short walk from the Markt and other landmarks. It was nice being just south of the Markt as it made the southern landmarks easy to get to as well. The service was impeccable and super personal. We felt right at home our entire stay. Being in Bruges in February was nice as the hotel and the surrounding areas were quiet in comparison to the high season. Also to note, this it the hotel featured in the movie In Bruges as well as the Hallmark movie Love, Romance & Chocolate (although most of their interior scenes are from a different building). It was super easy to get to the hotel from the train station too. We hopped on a bus (3 euros per person, pay right when you get on the bus) right outside the station and it took us to a stop 1 minute away from the hotel. Loved it and am already dreaming of when we can return. This place is sooo special. You...

I was visiting Bruges from 9-11 September and wanted to stay in a hotel that – (a) was right in the heart of the city and from which it would be easy to navigate to all the sites I wanted to see; (b) that was reputed for its comfort and service; and (c) would make me a great memory of my visit to Bruges. I asked ChatGPT to recommend me a hotel on this terms and ChatGPT recommended the Relais Bourgondich Cruyce. |The choice couldn’t have been better; the hotel, with its iconic building and the tree at its side (as seen from across the canal) is actually the most beautiful, the most scenic, the most iconic and the most photographed shot in Bruges.|The location was excellent and it was very easy to walk from the hotel to all the important sites, such as the Church of Our Lady (where Michelangelo’s sculpture of the Madonna is located), the Basilica of the Holy Blood (where a reputed sample of the blood of Jesus can be viewed), museums like the Gruuthusemuseam, the Groeningemuseum, the Old St John’s Hospital, the Markt – with the grand Town Hall, the awesomely tall Belfort (bell tower) and the many restaurants and cafes, as well as the shopping streets (including the numerous chocolate- , waffle– and biscuit- shops, and the piers to take the canal cruise.|The interior of the hotel was cosy and homely: the room and attached bath (with a bathtub) were spacious and had a very pretty canal view; the bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast spread was sumptuous.|The staff were very warm and friendly, making me feel I was staying with family, and I am very grateful to Fabrina, Manoof and their other lady colleague whose name I didn’t manage to get, for making my stay so pleasant and comfortable. Definitely if I come back to Bruges, this will again be the...
