Noah's — Restaurant in Bruges

Food was good but we waited over an hour for it. Despite several empty tables inside and outside we were ignored by the server, who avoided eye contact at every opportunity.

Took 15-20 minutes to get our menus, then another table that had arrived later (who got so fed up with waiting that they ordered at the counter) received our food order. The server blamed it on a kitchen error, but when our food eventually arrived it was completely different to what we had ordered. It was only fixed when we spoke to the owner directly.

Our food was tasty when it eventually arrived and one of our drink orders was taken off the bill.

It was obvious to us when we arrived that the server was overwhelmed. We had assumed she was a new or holiday hire that wasn't properly trained but was taken aback when we found out she'd worked there for years. Perhaps a retrain or a rethink of the front of house...

We came a late breakfast/brunch. It's a small café but it was also quite busy. There are only two staff working there - one person taking and serving orders and one person in the kitchen (I think this was the owner but I'm not sure).

We waited 15 minutes just to receive a menu, then a further 20 minutes to receive our drinks (tea and coffee). Luckily the food too only another 15-20 minutes but we had waited nearly one hour in total from arriving until our food arrived. The couple next to us said they had waited even longer...

The food itself was good and it felt home cooked. The bread in particular was very nice.

The problem is that they are very short staffed so the service is EXTREMELY slow. I would recommend going at a quiet time otherwise expect to wait a long time...

Very unpleasent employees. I have been here twice, today and two months ago. Two months ago we ordered two coffees and one cola for going to the bathroom, in any case they were unpleasent with us. Today we went in order to go the bathroom and thet asked us one euro in order to go, we would have paid a coffee or a cola in order to go to the bathroom, but the manners and the attitude of the waiter was so rude that in our life would have ordered anything again there. In addition, he was the typical person that doesnt accept their mistakes and argue with the clients, for sure, he will answer to this comment in google complaining and not accepting that is an umpolite person...go and care your clients and possible clients...
