A Million-Star Experience at Tanoshi Sushi!

I’ve tried countless sushi places across Belgium and Europe, but Tanoshi Sushi is on another level. Hands down, the best quality sushi I’ve ever had, fresh, perfectly crafted, and absolutely bursting with flavor.

Every time I visit, I go for the sushi boat and special rolls, and they never disappoint. Whether dining in or ordering out, the experience is consistently flawless. The presentation is stunning, and the flavors are just wow.

The atmosphere is warm and intimate.. perfect for a cozy dinner, especially at night. It’s a hidden gem in Brugge that deserves every bit of praise. If I could give a million stars, I would. Tanoshi Sushi has truly set the bar for what...

Delicious sushi but bad service. For me it's important to say that the food itself was really delicious and I cannot complain about this, despite the price being pretty high. We showed up at the restaurant without a reservation but we got seated anyway being asked to be fast if possible. It was not a problem to take as short time as possible since that was also our initial intention but after our order we literally waited an hour and ten minutes before eating anything (with some respectful soliciting after the first 40 minutes). I appreciated the staff's excuses but I didn't enjoy the experience as I originally intended. Please also mind that this place might accept cash only.

DOES NOT RESPECT COVID-19 SAFETY REGULATIONS: none of the 3 cooks wore a facemask or gloves. tables were cleaned superficially (food stains) no alcohol gel to disinfect hands (old used bottle was empty) we received menu cards that had passed through many many hands before (dirty, greasy) contact tracing sheets to leave your contact details were dirty, showed traces of having been wet before, I could read all the personal info of all previous customers. We left because under these conditions we were not going to stay to eat here. Not with the current covid19...
