I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. When I arrived, I asked for a table for four, and they told me to come back in 20 minutes, assuring me they would reserve a table. However, when I returned, the waitress told me they only had two separate tables for two, quite far from each other.
I politely asked if we could add two more chairs to one table, as we didnât mind sitting a bit closer together. The answer was a firm no, without any attempt to accommodate us. The waitress was quite rude, showed no flexibility, and didnât even apologize for the situation.
To make things worse, I was there with an 89-year-old person, and they didnât seem to care at all about making things easier for us. The lack of professionalism and basic customer service was truly disappointing. I definitely do not...
Read moreHaving had shakshuka all over the world, i can safely say this is unfortunately one of the worse ones. There are no red peppers, no spice, almost no harissa & it was served just slightly warm not hot. It was like a raw pico de gallo salsa base with uncooked onions and too much parsley mixed into the salsa. This is completely unlike the base of any shakshuka. The restaurant did not have any hot sauce available, they did not even give the harissa which was apparently used to make the dish. The only redeeming factor was the generous amount of feta cheese which was delicious. Definitely overpriced for the size of the dish as compared to any other dishes served in restaurants in Belgium or the Netherlands. Do not recommend this...

The staff are warm and welcoming, and food arrives impressively fast. We ordered a couple of iced caramel lattes, and strawberry pancakes with seasonal berries and mascarpone. We felt the portion size of 3 pancakes was appropriate considering the sweetness/'dessert-style' of the meal. However the standout was the Turkish eggs - bursting with fresh, zesty flavours, and quite refreshing on a warm sunny morning. Poached to perfection and paired with dark, hearty bread, theyâre a must-try. A complimentary side of bread and butter adds a lovely touch to an already...
