I play at multiple jams every week, sharing the stage with international, talented musicians.
If you're a decent musician and wanna have a good time, avoid the Monday jam.
Don't get me wrong, you may stumble in the occasional good evening.
But the truth is:
You'll likely be pestered by a whole load of stage-hogging guitarists who are absolutely clueless to the principle of making music together.
You'll likely not hear what the others are playing, because there are no monitors and the speakers are in front of you, so all you get is this muffled bassy sound.

Once or twice a week you'll run into a live blues (or other genres matching the café) band.
Also very imortant: they have a nice selection of...

When someone finally got to me, the staff member got angry because I didn’t mention the size of the beer, even though she hadn’t asked. I let another waiter know she’d been rude, and instead of helping, he got angry at me too.
The vibe of the place is actually nice, but the service completely ruined it. Definitely not...
