Sawad — Restaurant in Brussels

Visited the place with friend for dinner. The place is nice but was not busy. There were only 4 other people. The owners asked us to sit on corner table even when everything was empty.

The food quality is good and you will get complementary papad with chutni which was good. Also they offered mixed veg on house.

Here is my food list:

Kadi Pakora ** (ordered Malai Kofta) Mixed vegetables * Garlic naan * Butter roti *

My only big disappointment is that I ordered Malai Kofta but I got something like Kadi. The food was good but it was not Malai Kofta.

The restroom is in the basement and there is wooden circular stairs so it is not safe for everyone. The restaurant is accessible but...

An Asian (Indian/Pakistani) restaurant in Brussels which serves good Indian food. Near to Brussels Nord Station. Interiors may not be very inspiring but a friendly staff. We as a group of families visited this place for Dinner. They have good Vegetarian options too. We all ordered vegetarian and found it tasty. I had ordered Veg Biryani and asked to add more spice and indeed it was full of spice and flavours. I enjoyed it.

Prices are slightly on a higher side. The basket in which the Papdums were served were not clean which could be an...

At least for Indians visiting this restaurant, I would rather suggest to try the other restaurant Jai Ho who is a short walk away instead of coming here. The person in the hotel was in no interest to serve me and was like …now that you are here, just eat and get lost... but when locals (French speaking) came, he was all smiles and gives the appetizers and the welcome drink, when I didn't get anything... It is not just the attitude, even the food is average when I compare it with the one...
