My favourite vegetarian lunch spot in Ghent.
The bubbly owner Sara makes you feel like you've been going there for years, even though it's only been a handful of times. What a spot, what a vibe!
Their Davai clear meal soup with dumplings is my go to meal, in winter and in summer.
The dumplings are to die for, flavoursome and still with a bite. The filling is deliciously homemade with ginger, edamame, garlic, and gochugaru pepper. It's a full meal coz the hearty clear broth comes with a hard-boiled egg, soy sprouts, spring onions, Chinese cabbage, sesame seeds and Judas ear 🍄
A touch of healthy asia in a bowl! Many great drinks options, cold and warm. Kefir, kombucha,...

The sweet summer salad (pictured) was one of my all time favorites. We also tried to soup of the day (zucchini and thyme) and the Davai dumpling soup, both delicious! On top of the great food, the women working are so kind and made us feel right at home. My only regret was not saving room to try their desserts. I highly recommend making time to stop at Boon while in Ghent. If I find myself back in Ghent, I’ll be sure to...
