Kawa — Restaurant in City of Sarajevo

We went to this place somewhere in first months from when it was opened.

Personally I don't see any appeal to this whole new coffe lovers concept.

I have a lot of friends and acquaintances that thoroughly enjoy coffe. There is an saying that goes "True Coffe lover drinks coffe without sugar, milk or any additives. They drink it pure".

And I just don't see that here. As they recommended me a coffe which has 90% of content as milk.

A lot of words thrown around about "coffe house" etc. but offer is limited and coffe is mediocre at best.

Waitress that was serving us was very polite even tho she just started and was a bit slow.

Interior is that new thing with industrial, "half finished" look in it.

Prices are okish, a bit on pricey side.

All in all, nothing that will leave strong desire to go back...

The good news is: this is a great spot, cozy atmosphere. People working on notebooks. Staff is nice.

When you look for specialty coffee and are used to medium medium-light roasts, you are out of luck.

I tried their single origin V60 and espresso. The filter was bitter and the espresso too. It is maybe connected to how the locals enjoy their coffee.

So if you are looking for some fruity acidity here. No luck. On the other hand, this seems to be the case in all coffees.

Milk drinks are probably great here. As well as the other non-alco.

They do not serve food except for some croissants which are OK.

Come for the atmosphere. It is worth a visit.

Definitely a place that is different from others in the city. Ambience, interior and music, all moderately and tastefully done. The staff is very kind, friendly and professional. Gotta admit you have also the best guests, it’s always a great energy between everyone even if you don’t know each other. Surely serving the best coffee in Sarajevo. Their local wine is really delicious, I would recommend everyone to try it. Of course the best thing is that smoking isn‘t allowed in doors, but they are iqos friendly.
