Boutique Mercato — Restaurant in City of Sarajevo

Cozy and pleasant space with nice and helpful waiters. But the owner takes the right to replace you in the times of rush hour if you're not spending as much as he would like you to. After we ordered more drinks, the waiter placed a paper saying that there is a "sudden" reservation of our table in 40 minutes. When trying to complain to the owner, I get a "polite" answer saying that we're not spending enough money to be sitting down at that table. This is not a high class restaurant or a night club, just a regular caffe so I don't think this is a way to treat your regular guests. Never coming back to this...

I had a very positive experience in this place. We ordered some coffee and toasts, got our orders super fast. The food was tasty, enough to eat my fill. The ice cream coffee looked fantastic, I was positively surprised. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The place itself is rather small but very cozy, nicely furnished and decorated. When I requested a table at the cafe with a group of friends, the waiter "kindly" refused us, claiming that there was no seating available (even though it was obvious that a few tables were free). As we were leaving, we overheard them referring to us as "high school students" ,implying that people like us were not welcome. This is not a good way to conduct business, regardless of whether guests leave a tip or not, or for any other reason. The guest is always right and deserves respect...
