Burger King | BKK — Restaurant in Khan Boeng Keng Kang

I had the Whopper meal deal. I’ve had them in many countries. This was a pretty decent one. Tables were clean. Service was good. Chips were excellent: not the horrible shoestring fries they’re serving at Carl’s and Maccas but a much thicker version. So they are hotter, fresher and less oily. They don’t salt the chips though. I saw another bloke turn up after me and immediately ask for salt for his chips (without trying them), so I’m guessing they never salt the chips. That’s okay. With or without salt, at least they are real chips, not the factory produced shoestring frankenfries that you can get across the road. And the BK chips were fresh and hot. The burger was pretty good. Reasonably fresh, properly made. Not the best Whopper I’ve ever had but somewhere towards the better end...

The guy behind the register messed up my order. I wanted two whopper meals instead he gave me two whoppers. When I told him he made me buy two fries and two sodas separately. Never been to a burger king where the couldn't do a refund and redo the order. I felt pretty disturbed that they tried to make it my fault that they couldn't understand English in an American Restaurant. It was a 3 dollar difference which is not a lot of money but it's the principal that the customer had to pay for the...

I love Burger King but not this branch.

Four visits and four sub standard experiences. On three occasions, the food was cold.

On one occasion I waited 15 minutes and it wasn't busy.

One time I told them the food was cold and it came back dripping wet with grease as if it had been reheated so it went away again to be replaced.

Tonight it was cold and when I pointed out the problem, I got a surly response and was that it wasn't their problem...

Carl's Jr is right opposite so I won't bother...
