I was disappointed, to be sure. 😟They serve Australian Wagyu beef which is better than regular Australian beef, but by far inferior to Japanese Wagyu or American Black Angus. This restaurant is better than most, but not as good as one two streets away. I looked at the beef before they cooked it and it didn't look like wagyu beef, it looked more like USDA Choice beef, which is the second best. They don't dry age their beef, in fact, they freeze some of the beef. Plus the 400g steak looked more like a 300g piece of meat. The restaurant is nice and the service was very good. Everything we ate was very good, except for the steak. I ordered a 400g Rib Eye. My jaw was sore from chewing, there was a couple of bites that were tender, but still a chewy...

For the price ($$) more mashed potatoes and bread would have been nice. The mash was a dollop of foam less than you would use to shave with. Wasn’t sure if it was real mash or a power mix. Pepper sauce was good. Most steak places here give you some fruit or a small slice of cake after the meal. For a hundred bucks, That would have been nice too. The 20 dollar burger was very good. Don’t think the fries were hand cut....
