Roka Vietnamese Noodle Bar — Restaurant in Khan Boeng Keng Kang

Ever since I visited Vietnam in April, I have really grown fond of having Vietnamese food so when I was recently in Phnom Penh, I decided to go to this eatery for lunch and was so glad I did! Everything I tried was so delicious and I also got to taste a few new Vietnamese dishes that I hadn’t tried before! Everything from the drinks to the service and food was amazing and I really liked their entire layout and ambiance which was quite relaxed. The food definitely transported me back to Vietnam and it was so authentic and generous in its portion size that I couldn’t finish everything in one sitting! The servers were very friendly and the food came out in a timely manner which was great too! It’s always fun to try out different cuisines whenever you’re in a new country and want to taste something different from the local cuisine. I tasted several dishes with different types of proteins and all of them didn’t disappoint! The Grilled Beef with Rice Noodles, Beef Bone Soup and Special Grilled Beef Ribs with rice were some of my favourites because of the tender and juicy beef! Everything was not only excellent in taste but also beautifully presented too! The Iwanteverything pho had beef and chicken in it along with other delicious ingredients that just stole the show. I couldn’t stop myself from finishing it altogether and was pleased with the serving size of it as well! The Egg coffee that I hesitated to try in Vietnam but actually ended up loving was also quite good here and I really loved the Avocado Mousse I had for dessert as I didn’t expect to enjoy it but really loved the consistency and sweetness! Recently open in Boeung Keng Kang area, Roka Vietnamese Noodle Bar offers traditional and authentic Vietnamese food in a pleasing contemporary setting with friendly service and a gently indulgent atmosphere. A place where food and coziness complement each other.

I really enjoy their Wagyu pho and their strong and flavorful Egg Vietnamese Coffee. The service can take some time as there are limited staff available but the food really makes up for it. I think it would worth the wait. I thoroughly enjoy most of their drinks on their menu. Overall, the price is suitable for its quality and cleanliness.

Soo saw the place in bkk1 and my curiosity was piqued. Read the reviews and was a little wary of what I was going expect. The restaurant is beautiful. The atmosphere is one of a higher end place with friendly prompt service. Presentation of the food is also exceptional from how the food looked all the way to their take away packaging. The one and only concern was the lack of flavor in most of the dishes. There was an overall lack of vietnamese punch in the dishes. The exception to that was the grilled meats, they were packed with flavor. I hope they can punch up the flavor in other dishes because overall, the appeal of the restaurant is overwhelming.
