So the food was delicious, and really good price. They had a lot of vegetarian dishes too. We got 3 veg dishes, 3 diff breads and 1 rice to share and were really full and enjoyed the food, and it came to around $21 including a few drinks.
However, when we sat down, we were poured 2 glasses of chilled water from a jug, I thought ‘great, don’t need to buy a drink’. I then look up and see the waiter, behind the counter, drink directly out of the jug he’s just served us with, mouth on the jug. This really put me off staying, but we’d been walking for ages and couldn’t find any other Indian restaurants. The staff were nice when they came over but chattered and watched videos loudly at the counter, as it was only us in the restaurant it was just very loud and a tad jarring, to be fair, I was very tired and maybe on another day I wouldn’t have minded so much. But when another group came they were chatting to the staff right next to our table in a fairly narrow aisle which again was just a bit jarring when the rest of the restaurant was empty.
3 stars feels a little harsh but it does need improvement in my opinion, and I must reiterate the food was delicious, but I just really didn’t enjoy...
Read moreVery good behaviour of each and every single workers, managers. Especially need to say about the receptionist who is really humble with everyone. My personal view on the restaurant is really like home as we all are Indian here. If anyone wanna look for a restaurant as like "mom's hand taste" then welcome here. Even they have hotel stay service too and I have been here for last 5 days. Not a single casualty from there side. Even I forgot the room key once, just went down and asked the help from the receptionist and he just came up and opened the room door with a spare key. Even the night I came here without having any hotel reservation, the receptionist just came to me with a glass of water and took my dinner order then advised me about the price of the other hotels around which I found by myself that this hotel is the cheapest hotel at the riverside. I was lucky to come here on that night, and the best part was how long you wanna stay here doesn’t matter to them, just pay everyday to renew the room rentals. The room was quite enough for a single traveller. Thanks guys for your helping hand towards all the customers as well as to the...
Read moreI was eating my food for more than 3 months and it was awesome taste with Indian flavors from both South and North India. I would say Tandoori chicken is one of the best here that you can't find anywhere on Phnom Penh city. Tandoori is one of their top list food item. Once you dine in this restaurant you first order and taste tandoori chicken. That is my suggestion. I love the taste and flavors of tandoori chicken here. Apart from that you can get good dosa with fresh coconut chutney only here no where else in the city. I usually have Lemon rice, Tomato rice and briyani. All rice items are good. Last but not least Tandoori chicken is...
