WARNING ⛔🚫 worst restaurant along Riverside Phnom Penh Cambodia 🚫🇰🇭 I'm an Australian🦘🇭🇲 Guy lived in Phnom Penh Cambodia for 17 years,🇰🇭 this was once the best restaurant on riverside phnom penh cambodia,🇰🇭 I've been eating here most weeks for years, the staff all know me, so I'm not a stranger or tourist,😡 Today I ordered the $4.50 breakfast that is number 3 on the menu, With the breakfast of 3 eggs (10 cents each) 1 tiny tomato cut in half 5 cents, 2 tiny slices of bacon the size of your little finger, a tiny coffee, 100 mils of orange juice A bread roll (20 cents) And 1 small butter, but I always ask for an extra butter ( never been a problem) until my breakfast account came at $5.50😡 I asked why is the $4,50 breakfast now $5.50 I was told the extra butter is now $1 extra,😡 I'll never return to this restaurant, it used to be the best value meals along riverside Phnom penh cambodia, now the worst restaurant ⛔along riverside, the meals on the Menu aren't what you finally end up being served, all so small and highly overpriced meals On the menu they have a photo of spring rolls 8 in the photo at $3.50 but now only 5/6 spring rolls depending if you are a tourist or been eating here before,😡 Charging $1 for an extra Butter, is far too expensive,, 15 cents maximum,😡 I'm a local been eating here for years, all the meals are overpriced and very small compared to a few months ago. This restaurant is an absolute insult to the intelligence of it's customers: • The "chef" ought to be a moto mechanic… he obviously has no understanding of food, on any level. • The owners/management of the place clearly have one singular cynical agenda:… to rip off their customers. • Servings are pathetically… ridiculously small. Our immediate reaction was: "Is this a joke???". Unfortunately it wasn't a joke (unless the joke was on us for not immediately getting up and walking out). • The mutual disappointment felt at our table was only eclipsed by our mutual 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘨𝘶𝘴𝘵 at the disproportionate size of the bill relative to the quantity and quality of the dishes. -- The food is no better than any $1 street noodle stall. -- Wait! Let me qualify that: The food is not even as 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥 as any $1 moodle stall (at least 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 are authentic… and honest).

So we have insultingly small servings laden with excessive amounts of MSG… presumably to cover up the total absence of any 'real flavor'.

Verdict: This place was much better before it was sold. At least the old owners had some respect for their customers. • Don't be fooled by the menu or by the sincere smiles of floor staff; hint: they are Cambodian… that's what Cambodian people do… they smile, with sincerity; but… unfortunately… the floor staff are not running the place and they not cooking the meals. In fact, the floor staff are the 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 about this place. "𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺" earned the only star I'm giving this so-called "restaurant"… (now 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦'𝘴 a joke for you, the classification "restaurant! is clearly a mistake).

Give it a miss folks. Go somewhere 𝘦𝘭𝘴𝘦… go 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 else! Go to a 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭 restaurant! Go somewhere where you don't get treated like an idiot for simply wanting a decent meal for...

Been coming to this place for 5 years now and even bring guests many times here. Menu is mixed local/asian and western dishes. Normally pretty good and decent portions. Today was a huge disappointment. Size of sausages were extremely tiny compared to the past and pics in the menu. When is asked why, instead of apologizing the answer was - ‘… it is the same, the pic in menu looks big because it is zoomed….’. Totally unacceptable. And 4 of us ordered the same thing.
