-10/10 customer service!!! I want to relax with a cocktail and a stunning view after a hard day. I want to try this location after seeing it. No instructions are provided in the restaurant on how to get the top root. I was impressed by the view once I arrived up there, so I asked the waiter for a seat so I could see the street view. As it was already full, she said, "Okay," and asked us to wait. I'm waiting for a table to open up while seated at various tables. Also while I'm waiting, I place a pizza order. One table becomes open 20 minutes later, so I ask the hostess if we may relocate to that one. She said she needed to speak with her managers. She didn't check with anyone, and I could see that, and she never returned to let me know. I was extremely irate as I waited for the table for more than 30 minutes. I saw that nobody was actually seated at the table, and I was confused as to why I couldn't. I subsequently inquire one more, and this time she informed me that the table was reserved. And after 20 minutes of waiting, nobody has yet shown up to take a seat at the table. They utterly disregard my request when I ask again. This is absurd because a restaurant should typically only retain reservations for up to 20 minutes, and it is obvious that the table has been vacant for more than 30 minutes. When no one comes to bring me my check, I ask the bartender. I also talk behind my back and have a bad attitude, not realizing that I can also comprehend Khmer. Finally receiving the check, I asked to have the pizza removed because I hadn't received it. But they assert that once the order is placed, it cannot be changed. I just want to leave the restaurant because I don't want to quarrel. I politely request a package from her. They took longer than ten minutes, and I have yet not received a box. As a result, I just left the restaurant without taking my unfinished pizza. I don't give money much thought, but I do want a positive experience. It turns out that this establishment has poor customer service and makes racial and aesthetic judgments on its patrons. which actually aggravates me. In conclusion, I would not advise anyone to visit this restaurant because it is the worst...
Read moreHave to start by giving this 5* for service and customer care especially from our female waitress who really looked after us well and dealt with a food issue very professionally. Two nights back four of us made a visit to Le moon and were informed of an offer on rib eye steaks which was to make our meals even more affordable. Our ordered drinks came promptly and were fine . Very soon afterwards our steaks arrived and whilst happy to see such prompt service ,collectively we were a little surprised to see them so quick to the table . We had ordered 3 X medium,my own at medium rare. It became clear how they arrived so prompt, they were all underdone to an extent they were hard to cut and had jelly like texture . Visually inside they all showed to be underdone and being keen steak lovers at least three of us know a little about steaks so this was not a subjective issue these steaks were not just marginally undercooked. We asked our waitress to please ask the chef to rectify the situation with all four steaks. This was very well handled at the table but it sure looked as though the cooking staff we arguing not happy with our waitress. Now if this issue arises you would anticipate those cooking would ensure any food returned to the table was at least back to serving temperature such as accompanying chips veg on our plates. Sadly when the steaks were returned all plate accompanying veg etc had not been replaced or reheated hence cold. First impressions count and sadly the undercooked food and lack of professionalism in returning cold chips/veg showed the standards accepted by those cooking as well as how they appeared to dispute with our excellent waitress. It was clear our waitress took it personally that we had not enjoyed our visit , although we kept saying how excellent she had been . What a shame those preparing our food let...
Read moreLemon? More like 'Lemon, Drop Everything and Go!' This rooftop restaurant is seriously out of this world. The view alone could make a statue weep with joy – the town, the river, it’s like a postcard came to life and decided to throw a party. But let's talk about the real magic: the service. Honestly, I think they sprinkle fairy dust on their staff because they were absolutely beaming. And at 9 PM! I'm usually grumpy by then, but they had me grinning like a Cheshire cat. The atmosphere? Pure enchantment. It felt like they’d bottled sunshine and shared it with everyone. And the food! Oh, the food. The coconut shrimp appetizer? I swear, I almost proposed to it. Followed by a steak so tender, it practically melted in my mouth. I think it knew I was a steak enthusiast and decided to impress me. It succeeded. We stayed until closing, and let's just say, the dance floor got a workout. We were dancing like nobody was watching... even though everyone was. And honestly, who cares? It was that kind of night. If you want an extraordinary experience, ditch the couch and head to Lemon. Seriously, you'll thank me later. And a massive, heartfelt, 'You guys are rockstars!' to Rong, Pheap, Phalla, Theara, and the amazing manager. I mean, the manager actually came out to chat! I'm pretty sure that's a sign they're secretly superheroes. They genuinely cared about our experience, and that's something you just don't find every day. I'm already planning my next visit, and I’m bringing my dancing shoes (and maybe a bigger appetite for those coconut shrimp). Love...
