NEW SEASON INDIAN RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Khan Daun Penh

We didn't eat the food we ordered. I'm sorry to say that all the dishes definitely tasted strange. I can't exactly describe the flavors but each dish was sweet and you could taste a burnt or smoked aftertaste. When you order bread you can expect a really big portion. Unfortunately it wasn't a fresh product. The bread was rubbery and it was hard to even cut it into pieces because it was kind of "stretchy". The texture of the chicken worried me - I hope my comments will help this restaurant improve the quality of the dishes they offer. The worst Indian meal I have eaten on Earth. Ordered CHICKEN VINDALOO, got a plate of bland generic tasteless spiceless slop with a couple of bits of chicken thrown in. All pre cooked slop then microwaved. -- no chef just kids heating up slop in kitchen. Better off going to a food cart. I have eaten Indian curries worldwide including England, USA, Australia. Actually we are not Indian But we are Indian food hunter and we have visited all Indian restaurant at Phnom Penh but, we mostly visit this place 2 or 3 times in a week since last 2 years. We have test finished all dishes that how many dishes in their menu, thought their chefs are tallest and professional in Indian cuisine that really fantastically prepare every dishes, never made us unsatisfying, nice place to view riverside, clean and in outdoor, staffs are very kind and professional service.
