Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Banff

I usually try to stay away from chain restaurants, especially when visiting a place like Banff, but our bus back to Calgary was leaving in 45 minutes and we needed something quick. I wasn't expecting much, but let me tell you, this food isn't good. It's GREAT.

Everything was made fresh. My girlfriend and I both got the chicken tenders and fries, and both were hot, crispy, and seasoned perfectly. You could tell they came straight out of the fryer, not sitting under a heat lamp.

The service was also super friendly, and while the food court itself isn't part of Popeyes, it's a nice, clean space to eat and relax before heading out.

If you're in a pinch and need something fast, this Popeyes in Banff is definitely worth a stop. Fresh food, great flavor and friendly service. Can't...

Had Popeye’s for the first time. I was quite satisfied. I’d say 8/10 for the sandwich, I think there could have been a little bit more sauce on the inside, but the chicken was juicy and crispy and the pickles were perfect. The bun was also very good. The cajun fries were okay, 6/10. Not really crispy and a bit cold. The staff was nice, they recommended 2 extra sauces for us to try! I’m sad there aren’t any Popeye’s in Quebec (if anyone from HQ is reading this, we would be delighted if you opened a few stores in our province!!). The only reason I didn’t give 5/5 was the location. In the basement of a little mall undergoing renovations is not really charming. 10/10 would go...

The guy who suggested a meal for us wanted us to take the most expensive combination. "Kiran" he goes by apparently suggested we buy individual pieces of chicken for a family of 6 which cost over 70 cad with one side, when the same outlet was running an offer for 40cad with twice the amount of food offered. No condiments or napkins given. We were told that napkins were given earlier. They are recycled paper - mind-blowing that the Popeyes team thought this was a burning issue and it required reconfirmation after misleading the entire ordering process.
