I just took my fiance here after her best friends funeral. She ordered a drink that she found too strong so asked for a splash of cranberry juice. We wanted to be in and out given the circumstances of the somber day and briefly mentioned this to our server. We were told the wings went on sale at 7 due to a leaf's game and to hold off on the special this was around 6:50 so what's 10 minutes?I ordered 34 wings at 7:03pm. We expected a delay since the leaf's game and all.... our appetizer came within 10 minutes. They were delicious. Waiting....waiting....not checked on and still waiting....well come 8:03 we still had no wings. Being ex employees in the industry wings are not difficult and usually wouldn't take more than 20 minutes. Seeing seas of tables seated after us near completion of their pounds of wings and some even getting their second and third rounds.
We asked to speak to a manager. He came over...my fiance explained the hardships of the day and wanted the bill. He blantely said "well what do you want" as though we were suppose to explain customer service. It wasn't about the $8 wings...it was about the principal of him not even offering to comp a drink or uncomfortably asking us what we wanted compensated. Zero compassion for how horrible the day was topped off by the horrible service of this specific manager. The bill comes and we were charged full price for the wings we now waited an hour and 15 minutes for...that splash of cranberry juice was charged as a FULL cranberry juice as well. The manager needs some customer service training. Great atmosphere, horrible manager who apparently is part owner. A little advice? If you plan on having a leaf's game wing special - hire enough staff. On these busy days where mistakes are made and orders aren't entered dont have a manager that doesn't even...
Read moreRecently, we attended a Super Bowl party at Joe Dog’s Gasbar Grill that was out of this world! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a team of enthusiastic waitresses, dressed in their Super Bowl jerseys, ready to serve up some touchdown-worthy food and drinks.
The MVP of the evening was our waitress, Emily, who not only served us with a smile but also entertained us with her witty jokes and impressive connect four skills. She was quick on her feet, always refilling our drinks before we even had a chance to ask, and made sure we never went hungry by constantly bringing out plate after plate of delicious wings, pizza and mains.
The food was so good, it was almost as if the kitchen had hired its own quarterback to lead the kitchen team in creating the most delicious dishes. And the drinks, oh the drinks! They were a touchdown in every sip, with a wide selection of beers, cocktails, and shooters. The bar was equipped with a bunch of big-screen TVs, so we never missed a single play, and when the game got a little too intense, we took a break by playing some rounds of pool at the nearby table.
Overall, it was a touchdown of an experience at this sports bar and restaurant! The combination of great food, drinks, and an unforgettable performance by Emily made it the perfect place to watch the Super Bowl. I highly recommend checking out this venue for any sports or social event, and if you're lucky, you might even catch Emily behind the...
Read moreWe had my daughter's surprise 18th birthday party here and it was amazing!! Since it was a family and friends party we needed to please the toddlers to the seniors....everyone was happy!
Service: Planning this party with Mark was so easy. He was very accommodating throughout the whole process. During the party he checked in on us regularly to make sure everyone was happy and the food was flowing. The staff was very attentive to all our 100 guests! They were pleasant and interacted with everyone
Atmosphere: We had the party in the rec room (basement area) and it was perfect! All the kids had fun and us adults got to play some retro arcade games...it was like a blast from the past! We were able to use the equipment to play our own playlist until the DJ arrived. The layout was perfect for us. The kids stayed on one side with the games and us adults stayed on the other side with the food and bar
Food: The food was great. It was typical bar food so we couldn't go wrong! Everyone loved the tacos, wings and pizza! When we were running low on food Mark made sure it was replenished. We were able to bring our own desserts so that worked out perfect!
I would definitely recommend this place if you're planning a party or just want an easy going laid back night. We had a...
