100% the BEST Adult Entertainment joint in Calgary. My BF and Friends planned a huge party for me last night at Mariposa for my birthday because they know it's my Favourite. From the incredible serving staff to the Go-Go dancers this place is great! Before the party even started when my friends were setting up Ryan was accommodating and helpful walking my bestie to and from her vehicle and taking care if small details like hanging posters and making sure my FAVOURITE dancer JOLENE FOX was in the house despite not being scheduled. The front door man was fun and personable. He also walked us to our vehicles at the end of the evening to make sure we were safe. The Go Go dancers and Servers were friendly and the service was quick. They ALL wished me a happy birthday and made sure I was well taken care of. Ryan several times checked in on our table and made sure I felt absolutely loved for my birthday! Even going so far as trying to make sure I arrived in style!! He is an absolutely amazing manager! Thought we might have ended up here on a bad night but looking at other reviews, it seems the norm.

Sat on the tip rail on a Saturday with my friends and none of the girls engaged us whatsoever, and we were all tipping bills. I'm not one for the loonie game but I've been to the club before where they still talk and give you magnets, they all just booked it off stage when the last song ended. I had the nerve to ask for a magnet as one girl left the stage and even after tipping the whole time, still wanted $10. Fine, well the magnet choices were both AI images of herself with 7 fingers and misspellings. The magnet is falling apart on my fridge and I have magnets from 10+ years ago that are still in amazing condition. What a slap in the face to all the girls who have come before you!

Cant believe I'm complaining about this but we barely heard a peep from the DJ, didn't hear any of the girls' names and I wasn't even sure if they do VIP here or not? Drinks were slow and incorrect. The go-go dancers were all sweethearts and the best part by far.

It won't keep me from going to other FME joints but Ill never be...

If you're a long time follower of mine, you know I'm not the biggest fan of the Alberta strip club scene, what with the lack of private dance quality and quantity. But y'know what? This one is not bad. I found the bar staff to be helpful, friendly and hot (shout out to that one blonde, whoever you are). There was usually a girl on the main stage, lots of go-go's, and while the Provincially enforced standards for private dances of course applies wink, the VIP lounge is private and comfortable. And I got offered a dance shortly after arrival. This might be the top place in Alberta at the moment.

UPDATE: I tried again a few months later and the two lap dances I had were suuuper lame. Alberta hover dances and then they ask for a tip 🙄. Guess I just got lucky with that particular dancer on the first review. Probably would stand by the 'best of Alberta' part but, sadly, that's about as impressive as being the fastest kid...
