Don't ever EVER go after a big event ends, even up to 3+ hours after it ends! (Stampede, Chasing Summer, festivals, etc.) They don't prepare ahead of time and refuse to plan accordingly. Got there and ordered at 1:45 am, customers weren't allowed to use the washrooms, we got to sit and wait for about 30-40 minutes until someone came and picked up all the chairs and said the seating area was closed. Really really really unfair for someone with disabilities like me. I asked 4 times for my food after receiving my drink, never received my food and ended up walking out in tears, full bladder and empty stomach at 3 am. Wouldn't give a refund either. Horrible management, who was rude, snarky and had a horrible smirk on his face when we asked nicely for help and suggested he looks at the city events to plan for staffing, manager to manager. Had a wicked evil smirk on his face as he told me "I can't do anything about it."
I've worked in a kitchen and I was about to start being expo and start running out orders. I even started shouting order numbers and passing food bags out. The staff was bombarded with 50+ people in store while there for 50 ish minutes, and non stop Skip orders that they refused to turn off for just 5 minutes to catch up. There were 3 staff on site. They deserve so so so much better, especially a better manager than the attitude-filled, disrespectful manager they have there. They were non stop moving and had a look of desperation, depression while seeing them get slammed like that. They deserve better.
Just avoid this McDonald's altogether if there's events going on in the city. Unless you want to wait over 90 minutes with a full bladder and nowhere to sit and still walk out empty handed!
Wish there was a 0 star option. Absolutely horrendous service, treatment and organization...
Read moreLast time I ate here, I got sick. So that speaks on the good. Today I was with my friend. And honestly the amount of homelessness that hangs In and out is a bit much. It makes for a non enjoyable time. Not to mention it smells like pee outside the front door. That’s definitely NOT delicious. If I’m not smelling pee I’m getting yelled at by someone who’s high as a kite or drunk. Not to mention just now, a woman and her non service dog were inside and this dog was jumping and not at all behaving. Clearly not a service dog. When staff were notified they said they didn’t care as they didn’t wanna deal with an argument. Well that’s delightful considering this is a fast food place, people with allergies come. And clearly they don’t care about what ever animal gets brought it. Service dogs are one thing as it’s a working dog but just an everyday house pet. No, you’re not allowing hair, dust and debater to float inside the buisness. Highly don’t recommend this place as staff are lazy and don’t care. The place was just renovated. But why? When the staff working don’t give to craps about what goes on inside. Honestly this McDonald’s is junk and needs yo be closed down. And maybe realize that your customers who are coming to this place and are actually able to spend money aren’t going to wanna come except as a last resort. It’s not hard to be respectful and maintain the place for all...
Read moreI usually come to this Macdonalds early around 6:00am weekdays to get some breakfast before going to my office nearby. The food is fine and is is the same quality at other locations. However, I'm not happy with the service as there are usually only two people working. I place my orders using the kiosk and it still takes about 15 minutes to get my order. It would be even longer if I tried to make my purchase at the front counter as there is usually no one there to take your order. Another small detail is that I order my combo with iced tea and I can confirm that the last four times I went here, I never get ice with it. I have to ask every single time to add ice to it. And no, I did not select the "no ice" option when ordering so it should come with ice. Also, the last time I visited, the Kiosks had a printer error and therefore, I didn't even know what my order number was.
The location of this Macdonalds has waves of people who clearly have drug addictions coming in which makes for bad atmosphere. This is no fault of the restaurant but it needs to be noted that it can make the place unsafe and uncomfortable. There is a security guard there who should get a raise for putting up with this and goes above and beyond by helping us get our orders. His only job is security and yet he tries to help us out by doing the job of the macdonalds employees, who happen to always...
