OKTOP is hands down one of the most unique places I've been to in Calgary. Tucked right on 17th Ave SW, it offers something you can’t really find anywhere else in the city—a stylish, Korean-inspired rooftop bar that blends chill vibes with a touch of Seoul nightlife. From the moment you step onto the rooftop, it feels like you've been transported. The space is beautifully designed. It’s perfect for casual hangs, group nights out, or even a laid-back date. On top of the incredible atmosphere, the food here is just as impressive. Rather than the usual Korean dishes you might expect, OKTOP serves up bold, creative interpretations that are full of personality. Omg what a vibe!!! Not only was this a magical date night experience for us( because of the food atmosphere and waiters that served us) but coming here was actually fun!!! Again the food was absolutely delicious but the Korean culture that is supported and perpetuated here, really made us feel like we were having a genuine rooftop Korean food experience. I had an amazing time at OKTOP Korean Rooftop Bar! The rooftop setting gives it such a unique vibe—definitely one of the coolest places to hang out on 17th Ave. The food felt super authentic, and the drinks were fun and creative. Loved the classic Korean-style tables and even spotted a karaoke room downstairs (can’t wait to try it next time!). It really felt like a little piece of Korea in the heart of Calgary.
