Olly Fresco's — Restaurant in Calgary

I recently dined at Olly Fresco’s, and I can’t say enough good things about this place. From the moment I walked in, the aroma of freshly baked bread and delicious ingredients filled the air, setting the stage for a fantastic meal.

I opted for one of their signature sandwiches, the Turkey Avocado BLT, and it was a flavor explosion! The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and the combination of turkey, avocado, bacon, and lettuce was perfection. The bread was soft and slightly toasted, adding that extra crunch.

Their salad bar offered a variety of options, and I was able to create a customized salad with my favorite ingredients. The quality of the vegetables was top-notch.

The staff were friendly and efficient, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was relaxed, making it a great spot for a quick lunch or a leisurely meal.

A welcome addition to the area!

Buffet - tried a number of items there (roast beef, turkey, butter chicken, etc). All were excellent in taste and quality. Added bonus - 20% cheaper than EAT (Trattoria) across the +15 and much better quality. Butter chicken had a good spicy kick to it - not bland at all.

Fresh pasta station - nothing short of awesome. Pasta cooked to order for you. Fresh ingredients, good amount, great price. Probably one of THE best spaghetti's I've had - and that includes full on restaurants like Abruzzo (RIP) and similar (and half the price of a full on, sit down, restaurant).

And for the month of April - $1 coffee, any size?!? NICE.

Visited now at least half a dozen times - NEVER been disappointed. Food is great, and staff are friendly and helpful. The place (Bow Valley Square, 205 5 Avenue SW, Calgary) was extremely crowded at noon on a weekday in Calgary, serving the downtown lunch crowd, but that is as it is supposed to be! The selection - astronomical in scope, is well laid out, and allows for easy perusal by the customers who are scanning everything on display. There is sushi, soups, salads, hot dinners, (just to name a few items) and plenty of varied desserts. One can make a custom sandwich or buy already prepared ones, and there is something for everyone's taste. The drinks are just as varied, so the choice is overwhelming!! Seating is available throughout the area in the food court, so tables are available (we found one even at the height of the lunch rush). Checkout is fast and the cashiers are friendly and efficient.
