Yesterday (August 8, 2016) my work colleagues and myself went to this location on a coffee break. We were sitting at a table having a discussion when a man came up to us and started to verbally abuse us. I got up and went to the counter to ask for the Manager or Security - Security did eventually come (it did take too long) but not after this lunatic had been yelling at my 2 colleagues who were stuck there listening to this ranting man. It was a very horrible experience, as we come here quite often, to be able to sit down away from work and enjoy a cup of coffee. We actually left just after security took the man outside. Very horrible experience, we have noticed that a lot of strange homeless people do go in there, and most of them are harmless, except they do ask for money. There was also another time, where a collegue and I were there, and all of a sudden another lunatic gets up goes towards the door yelling and screaming, turned around and threw either a coffee or a cold drink up against the far wall by the TV, getting quite a few customers wet with whatever his drink was. It is not a safe environment, we boycotted this Timmie's for quite some time after that and we now have to do the same this time. As 3 women, we feel very uncomfortable in this location, as it is a very unsafe environment. What can Tim Horton's do to make this a safe place for someone to have a coffee. It frightens us that small children are sometimes in this location as well, and it's a very volatile environment. I know sometimes this location has had police presence and that helps for a while, but then these "people" come back and create an unsafe and disquieting environment for the rest of us who just want a cup of coffee and maybe a bite to eat. By far, the worst experience on any food service and the worst Tim Hortons venue. You need to update your dine-in hours since the staff are the ones dictating them not the company.
We came around 8:40 pm and majority of the dine-in section were closed, only 4 tables were still opened and 3 were occupied by customers. We ordered a couple of drinks, snacks and pizzas for the kids. We sat to our table and got our food around 8:50 pm. But here comes the rude staff, telling everyone that they’re closing their dine-in at 9:00 pm but the front cashier never mentioned this, we would’ve never ordered if we’re getting treated like bums and had to eat outside. From the website and front door label were the dine-in hours posted but they don’t want to follow the company’s policy. They want to get rid of their customers and when the staff was asked, he said that he has to clean, don’t care about their policy. My kids were still eating and this guy had the nerve to stand like a vulture saying “So”, my wife explained that my kids are still eating but he doesn’t care at all. A couple customers came by as well and were disappointed that they couldn’t enjoy their food and snacks inside. We all left, definitely will not come back here.
Rude staff’s name starts with MA, but the last letters were smudged, so it could’ve been Marcus, Marvin, Ma-dontcare or Ma-hatethisplace.
Stop with the excuses, you already had bad reviews about rude staff, the manager needs to get fired for allowing this to happen. Get your staff some customer service training or get...
Read moreI rarely wanted to write a review but the attitude of a lady working there 8am wearing glasses and seems to be a Filipino, just ruined my morning 2 times. Never really felt so uncomfortable and irritated ordering here though there are a lot of homeless people there but there are polices taking care of the matter, and was helped by others who didn’t have any attitude toward me. The first time my order was taken care by her, her attitude is like she is being forced to work. I ordered 1 sugar cinnamon twist, 1 plain croissant and 1 chocolate croissant. She gave me two bags and I didn’t know she actually didn’t put in my chocolate croissant. I didn’t know this until i opened the second bag. So this already made me feel so irritated because her attitude already but then plus she missed a part of my order. I went there second time with a hope I won’t be helped by her, unlucky me, its her again and again the same attitude. This time I ordered a hot drink. After she hang it to me without a sleeve, I had to ask her right away but she didn’t care or respond. I stood there more than 1 min until I decided to raise my voice to ask for a sleeve. Then she put it on the counter and again with the same attitude.
